We are not obliged to justify their interpretation of the scriptures because we are aware of its source - it stems from the devil. However, I agree with you that it is incorrect to selectively interpret a single verse to suit one's preference and claim that the Bible supports such beliefs. The Bible clearly depicts a situation where an entire city was destroyed by God for engaging in similar actions. Lord have mercy and bless you🙏🏽
