Ha ha ha. Bronze age nonsense. Thank goodness I never agreed to believing this shite when I was a kid.

Bizarre? Yes. Fictional? Yes.
@camraceranimation Says:
You could have just let it be "thigh" or "loin" as it is appropriately translated, my dude. In Scripture, loins are associated with childbearing, fruitfulness, and strength. But if you're just gonna run with that theory, at least be courteous and censor it for the sake of younger believers who look to your channel for wisdom and biblical truth. Thank you & merry Christmas

I usually like your vids, but gotta make note for this one: in Genesis 24 "yerek" the hebrew word is thigh. Also used with Ehud (Judges 3) when he hid a cubit lenth dagger on his "yerek" and Jacob dislocating his "yerek" in Genesis 32.

I would not be too surprised knowing God commanded men to be circumcised to be recognized as being a people set apart.i dont think there was much modesty in that culture

Abraham "ummm that's not my thigh bro"

Johnny Knoxville is looking good these days.
@PhilosophyByHer Says:
Sir I’m pretty sure a man touching another man’s genitalia would not pass in the Old Testament
@JoshuaTwentyFour15 Says:
Yeah this is not needed. I’ve never heard anyone bring this up before and it sounds ridiculous. The text clearly says under the thigh.
@ogloc6308 Says:
I don’t think “loins” is the translation that most Bibles have that word as. Its actually usually referred to as thigh. Apparently that word can mean thigh, side or loin. I’m not convinced that Abraham asked his servant to touch his genitals
@emiliodamiam8937 Says:
This is going beyond scripture and it’s a waste of time.. why look deep into something and add nasty visuals that are not there. Waste of time and memory… In Other words this video is trash!
@festushaggen2563 Says:
Thankfully the Bible just says thigh. Never heard this guys inappropriate interpretation before and I wholeheartedly reject it. "And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning that matter." Genesis 24:9
@larzman651 Says:
That's not what the king James says. It says he put his hand under his thigh. This joker needs to go with his misrepresented readings.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil

I’m gonna pause on this covenant, God bless

Cross Examined - What is with the weird covenant.? Response - Try fables, allegory, and endless genealogies that are stitched together and nonsensical.
@DEAD4LIVE Says:
Where does it say loins?? Is this sexual propaganda to defame the church by cross examined.
@carlos819 Says:
😂 Utter NONSENSE!!!Genesis 24:2 CLEARLY states… And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh: (Key words) “UNDER MY THIGH” 😂
@mattr.1887 Says:
So this blessing is not through belief but through ancestry. Interesting.
@chloemartel9927 Says:
further study gives valid reasons why this oath was taken in this manner. It involves the promises of the Abrahamic Covenant made to him. We in our time have a practice of taking an oath in certain situations by swearing on the Bible, the word of God.
@DJ-il8iv Says:
I like how the Bible repeatedly says “and he came into her” - sounds so pornographic in today’s culture.
@goldenbear8250 Says:
"Perhaps"??? Speculation is NOT the Word of God.
