Why am I unable to buy certain things on Sunday?
@roflmoomoo2098 Says:
We need separation of church and state because we don't all worship a tortured corpse by eating it once a week, like Christians do. And we aren't all pedos, like catholic priests. And we don't murder doctors, like baptists. And we all know slavery is bad, even though the Bible says it's good. Religion is harming us all and needs to be kept out of government entirely.
@bobbyadkins6983 Says:
Atheism is a religion. Many atheists are very religious people. They are passionate about their beliefs.
@bluetopguitar1104 Says:
Sorry, republican political hacks are trying to destroy our democracy. Johnson is no good.
@airkami Says:
If anyone things the original founding of the United States of American where freedom reigns because the people believe in God and the value of human life is considered a theocracy, then the word has lost all significant meaning.
@tarp-grommet Says:
A bible literalist in a position of power and influence is frightening. He believes in all manner of absurdities that affect his view of women and non-Christians.
@tarp-grommet Says:
Civil and criminal law emerged in Mesopotamia and was refined by the Greeks and then the Romans. Evangelicals can't see any history if it's not biblical and absurdly claim that civil & criminal law is based on the bible. Meanwhile, anyone can write a better list of 10 commandments than the one in the bible. The golden rule is not even on there and it should be number one. The first four commandments are basically about thought crimes and are totally useless in the teaching of morality.

Atheism: Is A Religion 🔥🔥🔥 HELLO 👋 Their BELIEF/RELIGION is: NO BELIEF/RELIGION 🤯
@melissadeloach8503 Says:
A plot against America? I think she means the Democrats.
@vcr210 Says:
No. Christians are not trying to set up a "sect". Read the Constitution please. America was based on freeing people to practice the religion they want.
@michaelh3470 Says:
Nothing like believing in murderous, jealous, evil god as your worldview as Mike Johnson does.
@wonkothesane8691 Says:
Yep. That's what she's saying.
@brucedavenport7016 Says:
It is highly unlikely that there is such a thing as a Christian politician. Having a "biblical worldview" and/or quoting Scripture do not a Christian make!!
@andrepierce9138 Says:
I dont believe in atheism neither im just saying belief in good morality does not have to come from religious indoctrination
@andrepierce9138 Says:
I dont think religion or religious order should a bases for politics because you will have unfair treatment in Humanity😊
@andrepierce9138 Says:
No humanity takes ideas and morality from good actions of Humanity what will work as rights of humanitarian society 😊
@dalex60 Says:
This country is already run by a majority of shameless hypocrite Christians, how would an established theocracy change anything? Christians are soooo f**ked in the brain!!!
@MB-NC1967 Says:
Amen
@Corporate_Desecration Says:
You can certainly legislate laws inspired by religious beliefs or doctrine, but they should not be solely supported by religious dogma. The Bible says “thou shalt not kill” which is perfectly fine to legislate, but we don’t write laws on murder simply because the 10 commandments says so. We write laws on murder because we can actually demonstrate how murder negatively affects society. Also, nice attempt to falsely equivocate religious doctrine with “natural law”.
@jacobwatson1818 Says:
Yes, unfortunately the GOP is wanting to force religion onto American citizens. I'm a Christian, but there is a difference between religion and government. Jesus wouldn't force his ideas onto anyone with force or threats, why should the GOP?
@Kramer-tt32 Says:
I just dont think the bible is a good book. Its very disgusting.
@philippinestroppoholic7996 Says:
You are battling uphill mate, having to deal with uninformed, biased people. Just don't worry about them. Go fishing .... relax, because you will never change their warped thinking.

@sweydert Says:
And why is the left's anti-reality, cult-ideology featuring menstruating men more valid than anything Mike J has said?
@Jaws_52k Says:
Morality was adapted by Christianity. Not invented. Besides it’s subjective anyways
@Justin-Kase123 Says:
Marcy Hamilton wrote that piece because she's under the influence or control of the spirit of the anti-christ. Her hatred for God, the Bible, and Christian believers, is merely manifesting in the form of an "article".
@JohnDoe-wt9ek Says:
It's only a theocracy to people who are so morally corrupt that even the most fundamental concepts that the Founding Fathers laid out are considered "extreme". These same people were up in arms because the newly appointed Speaker has no insider trade or dealings, lives paycheck to paycheck on the provided Rep's salary, and has no back door dealings with private lobbies or interests... They were flabbergasted, appalled, completely bamboozled at the fact that such a representative exists in such a pit of vipers...

@the_alchemy_method Says:
Very interesting point he makes
@philb4462 Says:
There are several open Christian nationalists in government such as Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor-Greene. They talk about more that just the Bible informing policy. They talk about Christianity providing the principles upon which laws are based. They talk about Christianity being given an elevated position in society in law (more than it already has). Donald Trump was put into office by Christian nationalists and he has always pandered to them. Christian nationalism is a real threat to America.
@lawrenceeason8007 Says:
Yeah…except that Mike Johnson has said that he would like homosexuality criminalized. This is the 3rd most powerful man in our country saying something like that. This is the danger of religion. He also said in a recent interview that if you want to know how he believes just look at the bible. If I was a newly elected speaker, and I was being asked that question and people want to know how I’m going to govern, I would answer with my belief and support of our constitution. That is the job of the speaker…not to implement his religion.
@akabga Says:
Yes, that's exactly what they're saying. That's also what they're saying when they say parents shouldn't influence their own children.
@georgeemenyeonu1511 Says:
Let them tell us what is wrong with RELIGION/NATURAL LAW, influencing policy. These guys are definitely not functioning well.
@michaelharrison7072 Says:
He's a dangerous guy
@somerandom3247 Says:
If you are legistating morality, and you get your moraluty from your religion, you are legistating morality. Thats not to say that you can only take ideas from atheists, its sayih thst you need to take your ideas from reality instead of from your religion.
@anguschiggins2161 Says:
Atheists dont have laws and policies Frank. It is a position on one question - a belief in God. Nice try though.
@jessemitchem3880 Says:
Yes, and no matter how obviously true and healthy the Bible is, they’re wanting to the exact opposite.
@darkeyeze Says:
Actually, a little theocracy can hurt a lot. Take a look at the middle, or some historic moments in Ireland. Should a theocracy ever gain a foothold in America, I’d be nearly willing to guess various denominations will soon emerge that want to dominate the political spectrum, and fight each other to be king of the mountain.
@black-cross Says:
Gay people can't get married because sex was only made for reproduction. The anus was made to expel not insert. Scissors don't work. And homosexuality is as wrong as heterosexual sex outside of marriage which leads to abortion and fatherless children who later turn into criminals or dysfunctional people. If only someone or a book had told us what to do to prevent such evil... oh, wait...
@kathybj Says:
I’m born and raised in Louisiana and I know a lot about Mike Johnson. Anyone who speaks against him doesn’t know him at all. Just try to find dirt on him. You won’t. You can’t. He’s clean. The dems can only dig up the fact that Mike Johnson is a Bible believing Christian. And they hate him for that!
@christophertaylor9100 Says:
We have our worldview on how we want to run things, you have your way. Wanting our way is not any more illegal, tyrannical, or shocking than you
@festushaggen2563 Says:
The same politicians and media that criticize Mike Johnson for being Christian, celebrate Congress women Tliab and Omar for being Muslim. No double standard there.
