For any cold case investigation there is an intent - Why Jesus has to resurrect? How does that work now or useful for you and me? - I go back to my investigation not based on evidence alone but also find the intent. If you look back to the message of Jesus teaching and resurrection as preached by disciple - You can see belief vs truth! Just follow Jesus teachings - you will see how life will be changed - The actors are not important nor the script unless it leads to a story line..
Everybody has a bias. I never went to a Bible college - I am able to come to a conclusion just like Bart. Many of the westerners do not understand eastern beliefs and how they tell the same story.

The way you can know the New Testament is true is because it all comes from the old testament.
it is simply restating the old testament laws, precepts, statutes, and stories. Look at a reference Bible- the New Testament references scripture after scripture from the Old Testament.
Jesus did not bring anything new he simply restated his father‘s message.
The reason the gospels seem to see things differently, is at least two fold.
One reason is to delve deeper in the meaning of a matter.
The other is that each gospel (matthew, mark, luke) has a special and unique message to a different group of people. They are all for everyone, yes, but when you dig deep, you see the message to the jew,the gentile, the saints.
Paul tells us the scriptures (Torah) is sufficient for salvation. There was no New Testament written down when Paul said those words.
He says many times to behave as you have been taught from your youth. Obedience to Gods Word is important.
New test is simply commentary on the Torah. Yeshua came to make us understand Gods Word by living it, by being an example of physically and spiritually walking in the WILL of God.
Thats how we know the New Testament gospels are real and perfect, because it says the same think as the Hebrew Bible did when Christ walked this earth. The prophecy’s in the First Testament fortell the coming of he Messiah and how He would make the Law respected again. And soon … those left behind .. calling them selves followers of Christ .. will be taking a crash course in obedience .. if they wish to be taken after the wedding.
The wedding is for the 5 wise virgins. Wise= wisdom= word of God = oil in your lamp.
If you dont know Gods word, all of it, old and new testaments, then you may not have the wisdom (wise-oil) to make the right choices during the tribulation. You can fall away from fear.
