I think he's underestimating the shear apathy and ignorance of the general public. There's no need for a conspiracy to remain secret when no one cares when it's revealed.

There is an athiest in my class, I brought up Paul. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "People believe all sorts of things." I got angry at him and realized that there is no reasoning with people who do not want it to be true.

There is an Italian guy, who lives in the US now, and has a podcast called Metatron. He did an episode in which he investigated, “Did the historical Jesus exist,” (or something like that). He found Roman writing or letters that mentioned Him, among other things, coming to the conclusion that, yes, Jesus did exist.

I honestly have come to think that the only thing that keeps people from Jesus is pride. Atheists are to proud to accept how small they are and how amazing He is. Muslims are to proud to accept that the Second Person of The Trinity incarnated and made himself so small. Gnostics are too proud to admit that they will never reach the same status as Jesus. The average sinner doesn't deny himself for Jesus. It is always a form pride, and no wonder...

What am I to do? I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also.” 1Cor. 15:14 …nevertheless, in church I would rather speak five words with my mind, in order to instruct others, than ten thousand words in a tongue. 1Cor. 15:19

I think it's good that you brought up the word, surrender. Because many people mostly understand it to just be bad without remembering that there are instances that it's good to surrender. And it's similar with being a servant or the idea of submission. I guess the question is - who or what are we surrendering, or submitting to? Who are we choosing to serve and why?

Mr. Wallace thank you for applying your excellent reasoning skills and many years of detective experience to the historical fact of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
