Is the Resurrection Reasonable? I truly believe it occurred. However, Jim's presentation only focused on whether it is reasonable that Jesus actually died. I hope he also does a video that answers the question of the Resurrection.

I’d say go to Answers in Genesis, and you’ll get every bit of breakdown of what the Bible says about creation. You have to use Genesis as your foundation, because without the fall and original sin, the crusified Christ is not necessary. The entire Bible points to Christ especially in Genesis. Like I said, check out Ken Ham on Answers in Genesis for some very good information.

“But the angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who was crucified. He isn't here, for he has risen, as he said. Come see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you'll see him. See, I have told you’” (Matthew 28:5-7).

Yes ,Jesus may not have been dead, like the other two, so to be doubly sure, the Roman soldier thrust the spear into his side (actually his heart) The blood and water was a sign of cardiac arrest, and the metaphor of the blood and water. ‘Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;’ - Titus 3:5 ‘This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is truth’ - 1 John 5:6

Thank you, for that insight. It’s REALLY important for Christians to understand this, for whenever we need to defend our religion. I had never thought about the science of it before (well, not until another of your videos a few days ago)

The "separation of blood and water" mentioned in John was a detail that completely caught me off-guard, even moreso when I found out why this happened. Mr. Wallace is completely correct in that those of our generations are really separated from the reality of death and all of its details in a way that would be foreign to those living in the 1st century.
