I found that there are fellow believers who are bothered by believers like me who are interested and study and minister from an apologetical approach. The one thing I keep hearing over and over again is that“ you have the letter of the word but not the spirit“ such a comment is insulting and condescending. I usually respond with this“ the Bible says that the natural man, that would be the unbeliever, received not the things of the spirit of God neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned“ how else are we supposed to engage the minds of ennui generated people. We have to meet themOn their intellectual Turf. Apologetics is a good way to do it. I don’t see any reason why the Holy Spirit cannot breathe on that. TheLate apologist Ravi Zacharias had a tremendous ministry that took him all over the world ministering to skeptics and atheists.

I just bought a used copy of Cold Case Christianity about three weeks ago and read the first two chapters when I discovered this updated version. I don't normally buy updated versions, but as a long term (31years) Christian who has devoured many Christian books and many on apologetics... I consider this book as one of the handful of penultimate books on the subject of evidence, reason and truth. Thank you for all your hard work and passion for the Truth... and Who that Truth IS.
