1. Another thing about conspiracy: it should benefit the conspirators. The opposite was true. 2. Peter was able to convert so many thousands of people right after Pentecost because they had already seen Jesus performing miracles, so it wasn't hard for them to believe in the resurrection.

If you unlocked a store room full of irrefutable evidence with a key that was obtained by an illegal search, the jury would never get to see the evidence. These (attorneys) are very smart. They have destroyed any confidence in creation and death as a consequence of sin. So the reason for Christs death has been ruled null and void. So even though the evidence for His resurrection is overwhelming, most people won't even look at it because evolution and millions of years has already been established as fact in their minds.
