I agree apologetics needs to be in the churches
@benantell5452 Says:
The only ones who leave Christianity are those that have never met Holy Spirit! After you meet Holy Spirit you can never ever doubt God in any way!
@elbertsorrell8394 Says:
The sad thing is. that the churches that are trying to do apologetics still get pushed aside by some young people because they don't want to hear the evidence. That is what I'm finding in my own experience.
@danbailey2964 Says:
Damn that skepticism! Nobody should be thinking too deeply about the mythology! No One!!!
@geraldchristophercaruso1406 Says:
Alot of the youth do not know Christianity!
@markthe1860 Says:
I prefer to teach my kids to be skeptical and think for themselves. Raised 4 reasonable athiests that way.
@gingercake0907 Says:
If you are not equipped to deal with the error you won’t know the truth. Alrighty now.😊
@tysmith9524 Says:
What's the preachers name?
@MH55YT Says:
Why would skepticism turn the young away from Christianity? Only the truth will turn the young away, or the lack thereof
@michaelh3470 Says:
or just maybe it's not real and younger people see the hypocrisy in the bible that most don't.
@timg7627 Says:
“Believe in me or I’ll light you on fire” -god
@anar3602 Says:
Since when is KNOWING and WALKING and LIVING life with SOMEONE about the WHY. The why doesn't matter when you're living life directly with Him. STOP TEACHING RELIGION. Jesus is knowable as a tangible reality. Once you KNOW HIM, no one can take that away.
@nkeveo6967 Says:
What of the teacher, sincere believer, doesn't know that the error is error, because of traditions that were passed off as doctrine; & then the youth "discover" the errors, & accuse all Christians of lying or hiding information; how does one handle this, because it's what's happening all over the world?
@bennettdeneghuedoeshits2950 Says:
If you teach them why it's true, you're gonna lose even more. You'll just have to keep lying to them instead.
@agentblack3090 Says:
I left because I read the Bible.
@johnchambers9836 Says:
Ever considered that young people know how to research and so know Christianity isn't true
@JesusisliterallyHim Says:
Funny enough most Christians I see online are young people 👏🙏🏾
@WintersunExtras Says:
Naww, you're upset because young people are beginning to figure out that the bullsh!t cult they were forced into as children deserves to be abandoned. Your ridiculous, ancient belief system is dying, and I couldn't be happier.
@patriciastordahl1220 Says:
So true
@shanesmith6941 Says:
The Bible speaks of a great falling away. This must happen.
@JamesDuke-u7y Says:
My friend, Pastor of Potters House Church in AZ just told me that there is great things going on with the youth and they are flocking to Christiananity and the church. Where do you get your facts?
@iluvtacos1231 Says:
They're leaving because there's no evidence. They're leaving because they're seeing church after church exposed for covering up sexual abuse. They're leaving because they're watching evangelical Christians in America strip the rights of women and LGBTQ+ people. They're leaving because y'all have railed for YEARS against doing anything about human caused climate change, refuse to wear masks or get vaccines, and support a political cult led by a madman who has played y'all like puppets. That is why people are leaving Christianity in droves.
@davidvernon3119 Says:
I love seeing the church realize… too late… that we were never after the adults. We have metaphorically taken their children out of their cribs without them noticing.
@Unborn-Stillborn Says:
The reason I left christianity is simply because I looked for evidence. I soon found out there is none. Instead to accept blind belief. Eh nope ... im out ..
@jodycarpenter6011 Says:
When they are young, you teach your kids Bible stories,but you also teach them context and culture of the time. Ask them questions like what can we learn from this, or how do you think this person felt. Make the stories personal and relevant. Ask them why God put this in the Bible, what is He telling people? Then make sure that they know the people in the Bible were real people, not just characters in a book. My kids got bedtime storys from the Bible and we had great conversations for years. And when they came home from college we would have super late night discussions. It builds great relationships that last a lifetime. What a blessing. Christianity is not rules and obligations but a way to serve others and bring joy to peoples lives and in sodoing enrich our own lives.
@B1rdTheW0rd Says:
Amen!
@rosemarietolentino3218 Says:
It is true but you have to have faith to believe it.
@sunshowerpainting1 Says:
Leaving a fantasy and a lie is always a good thing.
@lawrencemills3427 Says:
But of course it isn't demonstrably true and people are getting better education and life is moving on past ancient nonsensical mythology
@davidwilliams-yh7if Says:
The youth are being encouraged to express free thinking and critical enquiry where facts trump feelings. Religion as a faith (feeling) can not win an argument against critical thinkers whom demand evidence (facts). Religion will not win that war because you rely on someone's willingness to believe in supernatural claims. You need people to stop asking questions that demand evidence based answers. This is why the church preys on children before they reach the age of reason. Catch them young and fill their heads with fear.
@tomwatson9032 Says:
Religion is ahoax.
@ChadWestra-zx2jx Says:
Christ did not bring us a pagan religion called Christianity he brought us a kingdom and a narrow way into the kingdom. Repent was directed to religious minded who were not kingdom minded. These people are fools!
@derekardito2032 Says:
Something that no apologetic has done, prove Christianity is true, , Christianity the religion has nothing to do with the jesus of the Bible whether he existed or not, and there is NO, irrefutable, undeniable, indisputable, conclusive evidence that he did exist, even if that book of allergorical revelationary claims the bible was a book of historical fact, which it is easily proven not to be, no where in it does it claim that the Jesus of the Bible claim he is creating any new religion, he was according to the story born and died a Jew, the Crestus were Jewish sects, some believing he existed as a man and others that he was a celestial being. Christianity is a post supposed Jesus era religion, and like all religions it is a man created religion. Apologetics so easily picked off lying for Jesus Jesus do themselves no favour if there aim is to recruit new members, but of course that is not their aim, their aim is to hold on to those already indoctrinated, to reinforce the threat of what will happen if they give up their belief, religion is a fear based system.
@thierry860 Says:
Help ! My kids have a brain ! They're leaving the cult ! Help !
@LordNinja109 Says:
Connection with the world. Long gone are the days of being isolated within a community and echo chamber but with the reach of humanity as a whole, the youth can do some comparing and contrasting with others to see if what's told to them is justified.
@KapyBarra41 Says:
My testimony is kind of in motion right now but this is exactly up my alley. The gentlemen is exactly correct and I found myself there as well, I was Christian my whole childhood but I had a lot of questions no one could answer so my heart grew hard and I fell away from God as an adult but thanks to Dr. Turek and others who help give me not just the "what" but the "why" of the Bible helps ground it and makes it more of a human story than a far off spiritual one. Now I'm making it my goal to learn more about the Bible and God's plan in my life and I feel a lot more joy knowing I'm not in this alone. I want to learn more from Turek so I can work to save as many lost souls like mine as possible.
@alejandrojoselizano Says:
Christianity is not true, there is no god
@fitpro25 Says:
The lack of fathers and fathers being fathers.
@minyoisacika8415 Says:
Christendom has too many different denominations which are forever disunited and fighting each other through nationalism and political machinations. Look at the war in Ukraine , Ukrainian orthodox versus Russian Orthodox church.both claim to worship the Christ ,but they are fighting each. What hypocrisy. The youth are leaving because they see the hypocrisy
@The-F.R.E.E.-J. Says:
"you can be easily taken away from the truth" From an intellectual, or superficial standpoint, maybe but, "you shall know the truth & the truth shall make you free" is something different. Jesus is the Truth, HIMSELF, so if you know the person of the Truth, there is nothing or no one who can take Him from you. That's the problem with apologetics, it is superficial & teaches intellectual data as opposed to encouraging people to get to know the person of the One True & living God, beside whom there is no other, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
@RemnantDiscipleLazzaro-Rev1217 Says:
When you become a true born again remnant believer _[John 3:1-21]_ .. you will learn if you truly do careful diligent Acts 17 Berean study + parallel history careful diligent study, that Jesus never taught "Christianity" ... rather He taught "The Way" _[mentioned at least four times in the New Covenant]_ ...it's why you do not see the word "Christianity" in the Holy Bible, i will tell you what i believe the authentic austere Scriptural Jesus the Christ lead me to, which is this: it was the Catholic Church who coined the word "Christianity', not the Israelites who were born again. *I strongly encourage you to go look up this article title from a born again believer, it's quite Scripturally historically accurate via Acts 17 Berean true exegesis.* So look up the title of this article on the net; "Should we call ourselves a Christian?" by Richard Anthony

The kids these days are mentally lazy. I know some churches aren't really doing a great job, but these kids should be able to think for themselves and make researches. As an Ex Atheist, minus the personal experiences I had about God, I made extensive researches, comparing my worldview with others. Kids should be able to think for themselves and parents should also assist them. Do it in a way that is fun and engaging!
@TylerS44 Says:
I’ve noticed that a lot of churches nowadays do not teach the hard hitting truths. Why do good things happen to bad people and why do bad things happen to good people. Why did God allow sickness, pain, suicide etc to happen? Why did God create the devil if he knew what he was gonna do? Instead churches pretty much only teach the feel good messages to keep you coming back and dropping that money in the plate. It’s a shame really. Why keep teaching the just the sermons we all hear from Sunday school as kids and not put some apologetics in there is beyond me. Not saying those teachings are bad or pointless but why not teach about why Susie’s brother got a brain tumor and died at 12 why God let him die or why the rich and famous have millions when the Christian’s pretty much live modestly or have hard times. I’ve heard so many people leave because they aren’t taught it. They’re not giving the armor of God to their flock.
@ntkmw8058 Says:
This is the true gospel of God, the one which the Lord brought and preached and was crucified for. First the bad news: hell. SADLY no one deserves not to go there. Sin to you might not seem so bad, but in God’s clear sight it’s abhorrent. So just committing 1 sin is deserving of hell. And it’s no secret that everyone has committed sin. When we have a guilty conscience, that bears witness to the fact we have sinned. BUT God didn’t make us just to send us to hell. He wanted to us to experience love and and the whole range with him. But sin is a barrier. So to get rid of that barrier, he sent his Son Jesus Christ to live the *perfect life* we couldn’t and *pay for all of our sins* And then Jesus Christ rose from death to *justify* us in God’s sight. Keep in mind the words that were starred. If we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (even if it’s just for a split second of our life), we are saved from hell. Because to believe in something means to have the entire substance of that thing, imputed or given to you. Stocks or shares are a great example of this You are saved by believing on Jesus Christ because those *starred things* that I just mentioned, are all imputed to you. Plus much more than that. So here’s this prayer: “Lord Jesus Christ. I am a sinner deserving of hell. So I trust on you alone to save me from hell because you are savior. I believe you died for all of my sins, past, present, and future. And I believe you rose again for my justification.” Amen
@janvanaartrijk9673 Says:
Go and live !! You don't need religion !! There is no God and there is no afterlife !! Be free !! Make your own decisions and be nice and help other people where and when you can !!!
@davidlenett8808 Says:
It's precisely the "Why" in the form of easy access to information about the hallmarks of ancient mythology and their striking parallels to hellenistic, 'dying and rising' motifs that expose the Jesus stories as yet another in the category. Richard C. Miller, in his book, Resurrection and Reception in Early Christianity, takes us on that eye opening adventure. To those equipped to look at evidence clinically and objectively it completely deflates any hope of veracity of the gospel accounts.

We forget that there are clear and distinct processes in coming to Christ. Many want or do skip one or two to their own detriment. 1. Conversion ( the gospel) 2. Spiritual formation (prayer/meditation) 3. Discipleship training (theology, doctrine) 4. Maturation leadership ( apologetics)
