I really shortened the investigative process and cut to the chase. I asked God (I was not a believer) to prove himself to me by doing someting supernatural. And He did. Then I believed.

I think the biggest barrier some people have with not believing what the Bible says is their disbelief in the supernatural. If you don't think supernatural occurrences happen, then most of the Bible makes no sense.
