The very name, Seventh-day Adventist, identifies who we are as a people. Just as Jesus came 'to do the will of him who sent [Him] and to finish his work' (John 4:34), so too have we been called, and even established, to fulfill God's mission as we near the soon return of Jesus. Our name, Seventh-day Adventist, reveals that, just as God rested from His own works on the Sabbath (Genesis 2:1-3), we follow His example and rest on His holy day as well. I believe in the resurection of Jesus. We believe that Jesus rose from death on the first day of the week, Sunday. Sabbath = rest, Sunday = Resurection. Which is more relevant, sabbath or sunday? Do some more reseach, my brother.

Sabbath is not Resurrection. Christians worship Christ in the churches on Sunday in remembrance of his resurrection, not his sabbath day harrowing of hades (the work of new creation continued on the Lord’s Supper). He is always active. Christians still observe the sabbath as a Memorial Day, when liturgies are celebrated with litanies for the departed, our forefathers and mothers who are asleep in the Lord awaiting the General Resurrection.

I love SDA church. But please answer my question. My SDA friends are believing Ellen G White's words more than the bible. They always say that EG white told it EG white told it. They are not reading the bible at all and not believing it well. One of my friend got angry pn pastor that he is only talking based on the bible and he didn't talk about EG white words. Is it good? I can definitely say tha Bible is very important than anything and any doctrine. Even if EG white talked anything wrong doctrine against bible, i won't accept her teaching. She is a good prophet by god. I accept it. But why they are worshipping her more?
