I've been seeing some seemingly hidden behaviors in a friend. I just witnessed them controlling another in our group. And that person apologized is if they did something wrong. I saw how quickly this happened and how awful it felt.
I also feel like it's not an equal relationship. I'll call and they only call back at 10 at night when I'm ready to rest. Seems like I'm last on the list.
I have showered this person with thoughtful gifts. I have never received any gifts. I can have some light conversations going forward, but I'm not opening my heart to this person anymore. Let go and let God.
