I'm in a home where it is a constant tug of war. Whilst I am trying to serve the Lord and encourage my sons to do so; my wife opposes what I am trying to achieve for my family in the kingdom of God.

I read 1 peter 3 yesterday, and although my husband is indeed a believer, he doesn't always get things right. He mistreats me sometimes, and I know I need to be more like Jesus Christ in how I take it. Please help me to be more like Christ, Heavenly Father! I needed this prayer in the video today. It isn't up to me to seek my own vengeance or even 'stand up for myself'. Jesus suffered much more and didn't do such things. Thankfully, I shared some things with my husband, and he realized he wasn't making good on his vows to love and cherish me. However, I do need to be prepared for this to happen again and refrain from adding gasoline to the fire (which is probably just an angry spirit that needs to go). The only way I can do this is with God's help. Please help me change this area of my life once and for all, Lord! Please help me to cultivate a meek and quiet spirit, which is of great value to you, my Lord! In Jesus Christ's name, amen 🙏

God is sovereign, God is in control. I became a single father after my ex wife cheated and left. I was always half stepping with God. After He chastised me, I always try and put Him first, in all that I do, I acknowledge Him, He will make my paths straight. Live a life of repentance.
