Great point. Ps DP was always pragmatic and logical & extremely knowledgeable about scripture. To enter into an extra covenant with believers is non-biblical (meaning outside of & in addition to the scripture ). Therefore it is an unscriptural vow ... an ungodly vow ... that brings believers into bondage of control and manipulation of an unclean spirit. God cannot recognize or bless or anoint that bond /vow/ commitment. The Holy Spirit will not preside. The HOLY SPIRIT MAY be in the heart of the true believer. And the unclean spirit will soon cause division bc it can't share with God. So if the believer cannot be subjugated under the controlling unclean spirit, a split will occur!
