One thing for sure is that we are all different from each other. We all see things how we see things and no-one else will see things exactly as we see things. Loving others as we love ourselves is an interesting statement. Does that mean I should do for others as I would do for myself? I need work in this area for sure.

Quite right, money doesn't bring happiness. It might feed the desire for fleeting bits of pleasure but that is all. Poverty, Chastity and Obedience are the standard we should be striving for, not a load of money because even if we get money then we are afraid of losing it all which in itself only brings suffering. I urge everyone this Lent to pray for less of what is on earth and for more of what is in heaven. Have a good Lent everyone

I wonder what happened to the one who was coming here calling herself Fifi. The one who had dropsy of the leg and dropsy of the butt. The poor woman must have been in a terrible state, she had no electricity, she had given away what money she had to Joyce and bought all her books and didn't read any of them and was playing the lottery in the hope of getting some money back when she needed it. The books all just ended up being set of fire in the elevator and burnt to ashes. She had problems with the neighbors as well, living next door to a crack house. She was coming here regularly but just seems to have vanished, I do hope she is ok. She commented that she had found a proper church and they were going to help her back on her feet and help her get her electricity restored and give her debt and money management counselling. I do hope she has found some peace with that church. As Lent starts tomorrow I am going to stop using the internet for the duration so unfortunately I will miss all the lectures Joyce has planned for this season of prayer and fasting and giving to the poor. The internet is one of the greatest evils let loose on humanity and must be used with extreme caution. I would urge everyone to stop using it for Lent. I do hope poor Fifi is ok. I feel a great deal of concern for her
