As I was listening to Joyce, I was remembering the very first time I met her, back in the 90s. The things she said stuck with me for a very long time. When the testing came I fell real hard because I forgot some of the basic principles she taught. This morning I heard the LORD tell me to start listening to her again. Today, Joyce is just as correct as she was the first time I met her. Very humbling to admit that when we stop doing the right things of GOD that HE brings us full circle, right back to the beginning. A question for Joyce. Jesus died for and forgives our sins, but how does God forgive a sin you cannot control? I grew up WELS Lutheran, am gay and have tried praying it away hundreds of times in my life. I know the Bible says no sin is greater than any other, that we're all created equal, but I cannot pray the gay away. I'm 51 now and the WELS Lutheran church I was born and raised in, and then quit going to about 15 years ago doesn't approve of homosexuality. They preach " Hate the sin, but love the sinner". That song Amazing Grace says "I once was lost, but now am found." Well, right now, 51 years later I still am lost. Any suggestions Joyce? God bless. ð
