I thought God was telling me to do deliverance because I kept having people manifest demons in my presence and God would give me a word of knowledge or discern the spirit.
But the demons wouldn't listen to me most of the time. I didn't stand confidently in Christ's authority.
The Holy Spirit was just trying to teach me to listen to Him--He only ever told me to cast out a demon one time and it worked. Everytime He's told me to pray for someone's healing it worked.
But through the ministry of reconciliation, I've realized I still had/have a lot of baggage about rejection, inadequacy, and intimidation in my past that I'm now trying to work through so I can stand confidently in Christ's authority in all He will as me to do.
