God does not sin, therefore He would never ask you to sin. God does not tempt anyone and cannot be tempted. The question is a temptation to doubt God’s integrity.

Christians will go to hell because Jesus is a man made name...... yahushah is the savior not Jesus
@PedziChaurura Says:
That will never happen,God cannot decieve or tempt us, He's too holy.if ever u hear such a voice or command,its a decieving spirit and only from the devil

My wife has said this to me… if God asked me to beat her or murder my child would i do it? Lol. The twisted reference used is when Abraham is asked to sacrifice his son… Thoughts?

I can spot the flaw. You still pretend not to understand the difference between knowledge and belief. if you knew something about the g0d, you could demonstrate it. But you cannot even define the g0d in a non-contradictory manner. Whenever you give it a try, 12-year-young kids laugh you off the stage. you just lie and rant about 1 type of Middle Eastern magic to scam your believers. Of course, you have to use good old special pleading to reject every other kinds of magic of every other religi0n. Otherwise your 0.0000 "knowledge" would not be better than their 0.0000 knowledge. you shamelessly lie for a living.

I answered the question "Could God make a rock so heavy that even He couldn't lift it?" The effort was to try and trap the respondent, me. I answered "You're asking the wrong question. It's not a question of 'Could He', but more at point, why would He?" The 'Why' has to be fully satisfied. When it is, you will have answered the 'Could". We went round and round for a time. He finally gave up, being confused; It was explained and he agreed to the answer, but was visibly confused by it because he no base - no understanding - to process it.
@SalvableRuin Says:
"If God told you he wasn't God, would you believe him? If God can't make a rock so heavy that he can't lift it, he isn't all powerful. Can God make a square circle?" I've heard these moronic statements and questions my whole life. These Godless people will never figure it out.
@SalvableRuin Says:
"If God told you the Bible was a lie, and that he didn't create the universe, and that sin is good and being good is sinful, and that day is night, and that Jesus was an alien, would you believe him?" These are the kinds of questions that children ask, not mentally mature people.
@lukepoplawski3230 Says:
Y’all forgetting that God commander Abraham to murder his son? God literally told him to sin.
@davidplummer2473 Says:
It's like asking, what if your mother had gonads? Then she wouldn't be my mother, so it is impossible.
@2ndPigeon Says:
"Would you sin of god asked you to?" Well Abraham did it in the binding of Isaac, so why not?
@iancampbell1316 Says:
Why do Christians quote the bible as proof of God's existence when a non-believer doesn't believe the bible is the word of God. Why should the non-believer accept the bible as the word of God. Put another way, what proof is there that the bible is the word of God.
@LavernLee-zz5ln Says:
A Christian’s main directive from the Bible is to present the good news of salvation as written in the Bible. All other non salvation questions are non essential.
@prosoporific Says:
God has a will of self.. as Jesus.. one may ask and they may send the spirit to thee.. be honest in asking and it may be. If one wishes to know simple ask and be patient for God works in mysterious ways.. Faith be with you.
@ericwantsbbd Says:
This seems to have missed the point of the question, which is a good one. You’re arguing that Christian’s have a divine book which is perfect. Scholarship is unclear who wrote many of the books and there is disagreement on which are and are not canonical. The apocrypha is a good example of disagreement. Gnostic gospels are others. So it’s reasonable to believe there a woo woo fee fee god may suddenly decide that a new book should be found and new laws exist where wife punching is mandated. Furthermore one can simply point to examples wheee this did happen (Islam, Mormons as primary examples) and one can ask why one truth is above another truth. It’s a good question and if you understand his gist you’ll find that you cannot adequately answer.
@1timby Says:
This is like saying that you had a round square and that something needed to be done with it. Yet, there is no such thing as a round square.
@geoffstokes Says:
Jesus faced exactly that question from the Devil tempting Him in the wilderness when the Devil tempted Jesus to jump off a building
@joeftan Says:
It’s an impossibility. Sin is the absolute antithesis of Who God is. Sinning is the ONE thing God cannot do. Since what is and is not sin is defined BY God, whatever God commanded you to do would by definition NOT be a sin.
@chomnansaedan4788 Says:
The hypothetical must be affirmed as it is following the rules of God. However, the logic can be used on an atheist as well. "If all atheist scholars and books pointed towards a Creator, would you believe them." This is how you find out how deep their hatred runs.
@billybob-ro6qf Says:
God cannot sin Himself nor does He tempt anyone to sin.
@avishevin1976 Says:
God of the Christian Bible commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son and then later banned human sacrifice. This contradictory question you claim would make no sense actually exists in the text of the Bible. Christians prove again they don't know their own Bible.
@DomskiOKKK Says:
Great video, people always ask if God told you to harm you family would you? Such a dishonest and flawed question I just laugh.
@TimothyDuffy-kx2mq Says:
You're right. That fellow Atheist totally blew it with just the deliverance of that question. "If they had another council to put together the bible and they made new rules such as it being okay to beat your wife, would you do it?" Was, indeed, the completely wrong approach, especially as such things already exist in the bible the way it is now. No, he would've been much better off in pointing out that time when the Israelites invaded the midianites and Moses told them to loot, kill and destroy everybody else of the men, women and children but to keep the virgins for themselves and asked that preacher, or any preacher in the future, if he would take a woman in war to rape if God told him to keep her as his sex toy, too. Yes, that would've completely made the grade and expose christianity as the rape culture that it is at the same time and by its own words and past actions that haven't changed one bit, today. Hey, it could've been worse for christianity in such a moment, as the question could've been, "Are you or anybody else in christianity ever going to wage a holy war and take pilgrimages against political corruption in government to prove that not all of Christianity contribute to it?" Now THAT would've been a great question and it would prove that the force in Star wars works on Christians, because if Obe Wan Kenobe did ask Preachers that question, they wouldn't know what to say-just like he did to the Stormtroopers at the space port in Mos Eisly. And, it would come as no suprise, either, as the force does work on the weak minded rather well. Have a nice day!😂

Please read the Koran. More than once it states that the Jews and Christian should follow their own word. And also that Mohammad was only a prophet for the arabic followers of Allah not for the world. It is quite specific there are prophets for the other nations.
@landonpontius2478 Says:
He's asking a version of the Euthyphro Dilemma. Yes, you can take it as being about scripture but it's also about whether moral truth rests in God's authority or if we have other criteria for determining what is right and good. This is more straightforward from a secular worldview since the variable of diving authority doesn't apply.
@steveprofiler Says:
If you read this you will understand that this is subjectiv since christians do not agree with themselves : Romans 13 1-7 states, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.” This passage makes it abundantly clear that we are to obey the government God places over us. God created government to establish order, punish evil, and promote justice (Genesis 9:6; 1 Corinthians 14:33; Romans 12:8). We are to obey the government in everything—paying taxes, obeying rules and laws, and showing respect. If we do not, we are ultimately showing disrespect towards God, for He is the One who placed that government over us. When the apostle Paul wrote to the Romans, he was under the government of Rome during the reign of Nero, perhaps the most evil of all the Roman emperors. Paul still recognized the Roman government’s rule over him. How can we do any less? The next question is “Is there a time when we should intentionally disobey the laws of the land?” The answer to that question may be found in Acts 5:27-29, “Having brought the apostles, they made them appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. 'We gave you strict orders not to teach in this Name,' he said. 'Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man’s blood.' Peter and the other apostles replied: ‘We must obey God rather than men!'“ From this, it is clear that as long as the law of the land does not contradict the law of God, we are bound to obey the law of the land. As soon as the law of the land contradicts God’s command, we are to disobey the law of the land and obey God’s law. However, even in that instance, we are to accept the government’s authority over us. This is demonstrated by the fact that Peter and John did not protest being flogged, but instead rejoiced that they suffered for obeying God (Acts 5:40-42).
@ScapeGoat77 Says:
Virtually all Christians, Muslims, and Jews would do any disgustingly heinous thing, if they were convinced that their “God” commanded it…which is pretty obvious, when you look at the Abraham/Isaac wickedness. Each and every one that subscribes to any of those religions would say that Abraham did the “right” thing and that he was correct in his conception of “God.” I’m not sorry for you religious people anymore. Every single one of you should have realized, by now, what Jesus was actually trying to accomplish. He wouldn’t want you to worship him, and he wouldn’t want you to be a Christian. He also wouldn’t actually want you to worship any conception of “God” that anyone has ever imagined. (It’s taken me over 300 pages, saved on a flash drive, to attempt to explain how I have come to these conclusions.) Nevertheless, if anyone wants to “get saved,” here’s a shortcut to what Jesus wants…He wants you to follow him, “the way, the truth, and the light,” by learning to truly love another more than yourself. All the other stuff is metaphorical, and I find it exhausting to try to explain any more about it. I just uncontrollably projectile vomit these pearls in YouTube comments that are sure to anger your “God” and his other power-worshippers…and that’s about all the energy I’m willing to waste on the matter because it feels like trying to teach a donkey how to play chess every time I try to explain it. So, everyone just keep believing what you’ve been told. I’m sure they know more than some guy like me.

Jehovah God would not ask any of us to sin. He freely forgives when we do, if we are truly repentant, but he would never ask us to sin.

@anthonyju6392 Says:
Yeah these kinds of questions seem super strange to me but I can totally see it happen. The other person is going through a hypothetical exercise where they believe all possibilities are possible under the son. What they don't realize is imagine writing a fiction novel series that goes on for several dozen books about a single character, then asking what if the character does something that is completely out of character for the entire series? It doesn't make sense and is a non-sensical question.
@JamesRichardWiley Says:
After 75 years I am still waiting for Jesus.Not a word.
@kristijanpavlovic8605 Says:
This question is nonsensical. It's like asking can light become darkness. It cannot happen. God would never ask us to sin, nor would He change the definition of what is and what isn't sin. Love and goodness is a part of His nature and sin is that which goes against love and against good. For clarification, I don't believe the Bible or any other "holy" book has a correct view of God and His nature as I believe God is a much more logical and loving being.
@eeman1335 Says:
It is true that God will not ask you to do something contrary to His nature, and since He already says _Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her_ Ephesians 5:25, you'll never find canon scripture contrary to that. Understanding that does not put limits on God though as He also says _But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law._ Galatians 5:18 and this can sometimes appear as if someone is being led by God to do something contrary to the written word (but not contrary to who He is). An example of this 1 Samuel 21:6 where David takes the consecrated bread meant only for Priests to eat, and he ate it as well as giving it to his hungry friends. Jesus mentions this in Luke 6:3-4. While eating the bread was contrary to letter of the law written there (Exodus 29:32-34) and (Leviticus 24:5-9), it was not contrary to God's gracious character to give to those who are hungry and in need... _but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord_ Leviticus 19:18. David was operating under the Spirit, by faith and therefore not under the law (letter). Paul writes in for 2 Corinthians 6:14 _Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers._ which is commonly applied to marriage partners also being believers. Yet God tells Hosea _Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry And children of harlotry_ in Hosea 1:2. What this means is that you do what God tells you. If you are not sure if the voice you hear is from God, then do this... _If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall_ *make you free.* John 8:31-32. Dwell in His word, reading and praying daily. Get to know Him through His word and you'll know God's voice when He calls you.

1 John 3:7-8 “Little children (believers, dear ones), do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who practices righteousness [the one who strives to live a consistently honorable life--in private as well as in public--and to conform to God’s precepts] is righteous, just as He is righteous. “The one who practices sin [separating himself from God, and offending Him by acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion] is of the devil [and takes his inner character and moral values from him, not God]; for the devil has sinned and violated God’s law from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. .”
@RandyFinch Says:
People say that God would never ask us to sin, but that seems to be exactly what God did when He asked Abraham to kill his son Isaac. You might say that He didn’t allow Abraham to follow through, but that doesn’t negate the fact that God ASKED him to sin and Abraham was willing to do so simply because it was God asking. Any explanations?
@CJ-vd6po Says:
Saying there’s no such thing as a bad question is just asking for trouble.
@jonyivre4541 Says:
God would never ask us to sin.
@Spookweave Says:
It's like disproving gravity by saying, "but what if I dropped this apple and it fell up instead?" You cannot "disprove" God with a hypothetical situation where the greatest good does something evil.
@gonsalomon Says:
God is faithful to his own identity, therefore he would still not like sin. And so, he would never ask someone to do exactly what he's against.
@dirkpretorius8878 Says:
Superstitions are generally harmless but religions are definitely poisonous.
@cornelkittell9926 Says:
Your Muslim example is not a good one. They have the doctrine of abrogation. Since the writings attributed to Mohammed were clearly contradictory, they had to develop a system to accommodate that fact. So they decided that the later writings took precedence over the early ones. So a new, authentic revelation from Allah would have to take precedence over everything that came before.
@rc.... Says:
God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son, Abraham obeyed. So yes. Look what happened when King Saul disobeyed God...
@healingthroughchrist1988 Says:
When someone asks this question, they might bring up the time when God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. But they'll probably say murder instead of sacrifice. We need to know how to respond to those questions and how to explain scripture that looks like it's promoting sin at face value.
@the5thmusketeer215 Says:
“If God asked you to sin, would you obey?” NO. Because you’d know that the person asking you to sin… was NOT “God.”
