Although I did not meet Derek in his lifetime, his sermons becomes so real to me. It is as if I knew him. God raises people and for Him to raise Derek was for a special purpose and times like now - 2023. We need his message more than before. Timeless and central to the person of Christ. Such an intelligent person that God changed him to become Jesus disciples this is what I call God made impossible to possible. In secular world he will become a successful philosophers but God chose him to teach the gospel instead , must be very difficult to let go the ego since he was so clever. Faith is all I have left. It is truly the only armor against the enemy. Jesus give me guidance please. The devil is attacking me. These past three years have been difficult on me. As a single mom things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them especially now that I’m homeschooling them. People have put me down over my situation but God lifts me up! I suffered an heart attack two years ago and still battling lupus. Give me strength Lord as I constantly struggle to pay bills and constantly struggle to buy groceries for my children. BUT no matter what I face I will KEEP FAITH. Even though the devil wants me to give up. I will not! Jesus is King and I will serve him no matter my struggles.
