I get Frank's point, but there are passages that show that God is the one who saves people. "No one can come to me unless the Father drwas him" and, "No one knows the Father except the Son and the one He wants to reveal it" to name two examples. I believe that God does the saving. Before Jesus saved me, I didn't have a real desire to be with Him. Now I couldn't live a second without Him, He is my life - forever
@KenThePen247 Says:
God is able through our free will to impose his will... Just because you can't figure that out doesn't make it not true 🤔
@angloaust1575 Says:
People should repent But whether they will or can Is the question Satan has his snares and keeps people in bondage With fame and riches and other pleasures Only if the Son makes one Free will one be able to escape From the devil!
@billcentifanto8539 Says:
"If he does all the choosing, why doesn't he choose everyone to be saved?" It's so He can display His power, love, and glory. Read Romans 9 and Ephesians 1.

Hey, something I agree with Frank Turek about!
@TinoEvembrioti Says:
Freedom is not necessary for accountability in fact the total opposite. He who is free has no accountability. What an absolutely satanic lie.
@TinoEvembrioti Says:
We are enslaved that is the opposite of free imbecile. This weirdo is in a cult.
@Kinetic.44 Says:
You are absolutely blasphemous. Romans 8:28-30
@sandrascroggins476 Says:
Thank you for such easy explanations to this confusing topic!
@elbertsorrell8394 Says:
I think Frank hit two home runs here! 1) His statement on God's sovereignty. 2) His definition of predestination.
@DeshCanter Says:
Love requires free will. Scripture commands us to love, so scripture implies free will.

Question for this teacher: God said, "Be ye perfect for your Father in Heaven is perfect". Are you perfect? According to you, you should be as God does not demand from us what He doesn't enable us to perform. If, you claim perfection, you are a liar and the Truth is not in you.
@scottsimpson9506 Says:
There is a way that seems right to. man but, the end thereof is the way of death. "Free-will" as this teacher proposes does not exist. To believe what is being said in this video forces a "believer" to come up with some self-righteous reason for their believing while others do not! The issue is the heart. Jer 17:9 describes our natural hearts. So, God must first change the heart (regenerate a man) so that he then can, and will, repent and believe. It's ALL of God! Including the faith that believes unto salvation - Romans 2:8-9.

The true *purpose* of election: "We [elect] are preparing now to rule and reign with Him in the coming ages (Eph. 2:7, 2 Tim. 2:12, Rev. 20:6), to govern five or ten cities (Luke 19:17,19), to sit on thrones governing the tribes of Israel (Matt. 19:28; Luke 22:30), even to rule over all He has (Luke 12:43-44). Our Lord is preparing leaders for that time ... we [elect] are the firstfruits [2 Thess. 2:13, Jam. 1:18, Rev. 14:4-5] -- the priests and kings who will judge the world and intercede for the ungodly (lost) in this age and the ages to come. ... God does not merely settle for the firstfruits. *They are but a pledge for the whole."* -- Gerry Beauchemin, _Hope Beyond Hell,_ chapter 5, "Purpose of Election" section

Sounds like very man made theology. One day God will help us all understand. He will even laugh with us “you thought what 😂”
@abuelb Says:
Men are slave to sin.
@abuelb Says:
God gives faith to believe. Man has no faith to believe. His will is to choose his sin.
@Sparrow-u9r Says:
Calvinism is cognitive dissonance regarding salvation.
@naturematt4340 Says:
In other words, calvinism creates a different god not found in scripture. It's idolatry

God is the devil.
@Iskandar75 Says:
Used to agree in my own understanding. But this is not a biblical answer. If he holds to sola scriptura like most evangelicals do, you can’t deny that scriptures teaches that God elects and picks all the sheep. Greatest example is Romans 9. Jesus iterates that idea in John 10:27-30. This is a mystery and we do not like it. But it doesn’t mean it is ‘t true. Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.
@louskimming4371 Says:
(Romans 9:16, AVRLE) “‭16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that, but of God that sheweth mercy.” (John 1:13, AVRLE) “‭13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
@louskimming4371 Says:
Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. No man is a universal negative, universal means it is ALL inclusive, that is that it is without exception, especially when God says it! Can indicates ability, and can is the proper translation, may indicates permission, thus here Jesus is clearly saying that no man has the ability to come to Him. He then goes on to tell us that when the Father draws one, that Jesus will raise them up at the last day. He allows for no exceptions here. He could have said that He would raise up some, but He didn't. If Jesus is a liar, He is a false prophet, if He misspoke, He is not perfect, and if He is not perfect, than He is not the Christ. The Greek word helkuo which is here translated as draw is defined in New American Standard Greek Lexicon as; 1670. ελκω helko; a prim. vb.; to drag:-- NAS-drag (1), dragged (2), draw (1), draws (1), drew (2), haul (1). A.H. Strongs says this: 1670. ἑλκύω helkuo hel-koo’-o; or ελκω helko hel’-ko; probably akin to 138; to drag (literally or figuratively): —  draw. Compare 1667. The Online Bible Greek Lexicon says: 1670 ἑλκύω helkuo hel-koo’-o or ἕλκω helko hel’-ko probably akin to 138; TDNT-2:503,227; {See TDNT 234 } v AV-draw 8; 8 1) to draw, drag off • metaph., to draw by inward power, lead, impel The word clearly means that force was used, and the context demands that the force used was used successfully. Joh 4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. Clearly helkuo/draw here deals with the use of force, water does not come of its own will. Joh 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. Helkuo/draw here also deals with force. In fact the English words use in place of helkuo always describe force.

WHERE IS THE ONE TRUE GOSPEL IN CALVINISM???
@bryanmcguire3747 Says:
Let's say you make a salad. Then, you grab a wooden block and whittle a spoon to eat the salad. Wait! You can't eat a salad with a spoon. That's not it's nature. So, since the spoon *you made* cannot do anything beyond the nature *you gave it*, you throw it into the fire. That's not a loving creator.

@rsmith141900 Says:
If God truly desires to save everyone but everyone isn’t saved, then God either doesn’t have the power to save everyone or He doesn’t truly desire to save them…otherwise he would just save them..
@TheBereanVoice Says:
Calvinists do not believe that God is the proximate cause of sin. Would sin have ever entered the world apart from God determining to permit it in His world? Never. If He determined to permit it, He must have had a good purpose for doing so and that purpose will always be realized. He does according to His will everywhere and at all times.
@TheBereanVoice Says:
You would do well to consider the two different senses in which God is said to will. It will be of great help to you if you will learn to distinguish between what God desires which often does not occur and what He has determined either to permit or to cause to occur which will always occur.
@Hello-bn2yc Says:
So is it us choosing God? Or are CHOSEN, because He chose us?
@abuelb Says:
Theres no guarantee if theres an IF. 😂 Predestination before the foundation of the world means It will come to pass. There no if about it.
@abuelb Says:
Free will is man's ability to exercise his pride, to choose his sin.
@johncollier3175 Says:
I love the true gospel. Just like Calvin.
@bdgdbdgd Says:
Well... man's will is totally corrupted... meaning man don't have will , capacity and desire to believe in God... only God can save us... we don't contribute anything to our salvation
@schmaingd Says:
God is not a universalist. He wants all those he chose to be saved…and what he wants happens. All that he chooses are saved.
@solomonnallapu Says:
Thank you for sharing your views. As a Christian who believes in the doctrines of grace, I do not believe that non-Calvinistic soteriology will lead to hell. However, my major issue with non-Calvinists is that they are gradually introducing liberal, open theology, and lgbtq+ views into the church. Yes, there are moral failings among Calvinistic preachers, but congregations and preachers (with the exception of a few) with non-Calvinistic soteriology appear to be very liberal in their thinking. Calvinistic preachers, on the other hand, are excellent Bible expositors.
@benfrank1572 Says:
Arminians always come back to "it just ain't fair" ... completely disregarding God's foreknowledge. "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will". (Ephesians 1:4-5)
@ryleighloughty3307 Says:
Sinful people cannot contribute to their salvation; it's all in God's hands.
@mrtichar.a.b.b.i560 Says:
The reality is not all will be saved ..some will go to heaven and some to hell How can a dead person in sin choose God .. when they are rejecting the truth in unrighteousness
@MrsRGross Says:
Nice OPINION, Frank. Read the Bible much? To think that I told my kids that you were safe to watch. Oh, by the way, God doesn’t have to save anyone. That’s kinda where the whole mercy thing comes in. ALL glory goes to God for one’s salvation. It’s ugly when you steal half and glorify yourself for making the “right choice.” Really ugly.
@claromagallanes2877 Says:
Calvinism is not only a contradiction, but also an idolatry. John Calvin was wrong in all points misrepresenting God.
@gregsusieborn1262 Says:
We must figure what Romans 9:18-20 !!
@tomm6167 Says:
A non-Calvinist and non-Arminian understanding of free will: "What father holding his little girl’s hand crossing a busy street would ever let it go? The more she pulls, the tighter he squeezes. There is no way she is going anywhere! Is God any different? The argument that a person can choose hell by rejecting God as a result of 'free' will is in effect saying a little girl has more strength than her dad. God has given man a 'measure' of free will, but certainly not to the degree that He would allow him or her to damn themselves forever in torment. Is God less of a parent than we are (Matt. 7:11)? We extend increasing freedom to our children as they mature. Too much too soon is disastrous. He knows just how much freedom we need for our development. God, as Creator, is owner of all things (Psalm 2:8; Ezek. 18:4; Col. 1:16; Heb. 1:2), and that includes you and I. He has never relinquished that title. Only He has absolute 'free' will over His property. Should we be forever lost, He would be the loser and God is not a loser! Many say hell is locked on the inside. But how? Christ has the keys! (Rev. 1:18). Many believe God’s hands are tied; as much as He would like to keep us, He is unable. But, is our power to destroy His property really greater than His power to preserve or restore it? How 'free' and powerful are we? What role did we play in controlling our life experiences that have made us what we are? Will we deliberately choose what sufferings we will undergo in the future that inevitably will affect what we become? What intricacies of our reasoning processes, which determine our decisions, do we fully control?" -- Gerry Beauchemin, _Hope Beyond Hell,_ 2010, pg. 38
@anamerican481 Says:
Then why did Jesus have to go to the Cross 🤔 if we are chosen?
@tylerapplin6108 Says:
If left up to us, no one would ever choose God. The Bible clearly states that some are chosen and some are not. We all deserve Hell, but God gives some the ability to come to know him. But we do not know who those people will be. It might be majority of us, it might be very few of us, but we dont know. Romans 8:29-30, Matthew 24:22, Mark 13:20, etc talk about God predetermining certain individuals to be conformed to the likeness of Jesus. Ultimately, no one deserves to be saved. God would be perfectly just in allowing each of us to spend eternity in Hell. If I handed $5 to 5 of 20 people, would the 15 people who didnt receive money be upset? Maybe, but do they deserve to be, no. God does not owe us anything or owe us the ability to know anything.
@oracleoftroy Says:
I wish he answered the question. If he didn't know what Calvinism teaches, it would be better to just apologize for not answering, but he'd rather keep his Christian integrity than bear false witness. Or if he did know something, it would be better to correct her false assumptions and inform her that Calvinists do confess human free will and that it isn't a fatalistic system. But when you have centuries old confessions laying out the Reformed view and you insist on perpetuating a false version of the system to make it seem as bad as possible, one has to wonder whether they love Christ. After all, Jesus said "If you love me, obey my commandments." Bearing false witness and not backing up these highly suspect claims with several witnesses when they so clearly contradict Calvinist confessions is just an awful look.
@raybo632 Says:
Romans CHAPTER 3 Romans 9. If you don't get it . Its called grace. Gods grace. This doesn't happen by mans ability but by the mercy and grace of God. Grace means God does this saving from judgment for our sin against A HOLY AND JUST GOD. Ephesians 1 says we are dead in trespasses and sin. Romans 3 says we are dead to the even understanding the. truth. Jhon 3:6, " the flesh gives birth to flesh, and the Spirit gives life to Spirit ". Flesh Eisegesis the text. Spirit Exegesis the text. The unregenerate read into the Bible, the regenerate extract from the Bible.
