Lol God infinitely just??? What a joke. A loving God creating people to whom he knows will wind up in hell is not just . It selfish and glory whoring . Do you think God is just? Did you ask to be a sinner ? Did you or I eat that dam apple in the garden? Nope. And before ANY OF YOU dare tell me God wants all to be saved let me point out that if God was so worried about it then he'd give everyone a fighting chance . No one would be born to atheist Mormon Muslim Jewish or Buddists families.... And God wouldnt give life to people who never got to hear about Christ because of their location like the native americans.. yeah the God who claims he desires all to come to knowledge of Christ is the same one who for 1500 years between Christs death and when his name was first spoken of in America when Columbus discovered them sent hundred of millions to hell.. souls who never goy to hear about our glory seeking heavenly father

I agree with what most of Frank says, but not this. This is the say that fire in the Lake of Fire is the same fire that we know. Who's to say that it's not so hot that we can't see it and that's why there's outer Darkness not only that, the place called hell and the place called the Lake of Fire are two different places. The Bible States and Revelation chapter 17 I think that death and hell are cast into the lake of fire. Right now hell is in the earth. It will be brought out and cast into the Lake of Fire

How sad to see so many Christians not understanding that there is no justice in Hades, zero, nada. It is the purest form of injustice that is taking place there because it is the kingdom of Satan and Satan is the most unjust being in the universe. Lake of fire which will happen in the end, which is God's wrath, that is a just place.
@davehshs651 Says:
A God who would damn someone to eternal suffering for honestly NOT believing what God WANTS him/her to believe would be a MONSTER. There is NOTHING a human could do on Earth that would justify ETERNAL torture. God is Love. Calling eternal torment a "just" punishment is INSANE.

The choice is to have eternal life or to perish (John 3:16). Hell isn't a place where living people will be tormented, it's a description of destruction. (2 Peter 2:6, Jude 1:7)

Frank, HELL is really. Hell is a physical place. Hell will house the unsaved. The presence of someone being in Hell is avoidable. Matt 10:28 KJV And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
@marcusmuse4787 Says:
it's also described as a prison now there's some pretty horrible prisons in the world that you don't want to go to. So, if hell is the worst then you need to get straight with God or hope you get an early parole with your bad self.
@chickbowdrie4750 Says:
Actually, Hell is called "Outer Darkness" - it never said that means there's no light. But the Lake of Fire is apparently another location. We know this because it is written that death and Hell will be cast in to the Lake of Fire.
@InsideTheStadium Says:
Heaven and Hell are 2 very real places, that's tge reason God send Jesus to do what he did so that we would be saved and cleansed from going to hell Jesus Died for and paid the price for all the sins we will ever commit in our life time, so that it would be possible for sinners like us to make it to Heaven in the presence of a perfect God. After 3 days He rose from the dead to show us all that not even death can beat or hold him. Jesus is Not your Enemy, He gave his life for you and I which Is the greatest way to show you Love someone. Accepting Jesus means you accept that he paid for your sins with his life and you are blame free and will have everlasting life with God in Heaven. Not Accepting Jesus means you don't accept that he paid for your sins with his life and you will have to pay fir every sin you ever committed yourself, and those sins payments are hell. I am not your enemy, I do not come with words of hate or death, I come with words of Love and Life. Jesus is the only way to God and Heaven. God's spirit came down in the Flesh of a man and that is Jesus, God's Spirit dwells in Jesus body, they are One, just like you and I have a spirit in our body and our spirit is inside our body, but that dosnt make us 2 entity's or 2 different people, its still one Me and One You. It is the same with God and Jesus. All you have to do to be saved is Accept Jesus by believing and Confessing Jesus is Lord, and you will be saved and have everlasting life. 🙏🏽✌🏽❤️

I don’t think being punished for eternity because you don’t believe in someone who has literally has never presented any evidence to believe, is being infinitely just
@itsJPhere Says:
Hell is not real. Hell is imaginary. I dare anyone to prove me wrong without pointing at the Bible as "proof". Impossible task, isn't it? So why worry about hell when everything that can be known about it only exists in people's imagination?
@Wilm-u1q Says:
It's still scary.
@Christian_counsel Says:
Not only that. Gods view of Justice is different from ours. God hates sin. So just bc you think you lived a pretty good life and didn’t kill anyone doesn’t mean You’re hell is going to be a walk in the park for all eternity.

@vlmmnadet1304 Says:
Here is what many do overlook. Hell or hades is the Grave. Now, what many tend to believe is that when Jesus Christ our Lord spoke on hell, He was referring to the Lake of Fire; He actually did say Lake of Fire. As in Revelation you also find that death and hell were consumed by the lake of Fire. Which is called the Second Death. Also to that, Revelation tells us that is the death from which you rise no more. There is no second chance.

@jacobhargiss9909 Says:
I see t less as a metaphor and more as a way to put the suffering of hell into terms that we can understand. what is the greatest physical pain a person can endure? burning. so hell is compared to that sensation because that is a close to the sufferings of hell that we can compare. that is extremely frightening. what sort of pains must exist there that are ao beyond anything we feel on earth that the closest comparison is fire?
@JohnsonJr-j1f Says:
Amen and God Bless!!
@jyllianrainbow7371 Says:
Hell is separation from God. The metaphor of eternal fire is portraying what this separation feels like in a way we can understand in this life. No physical punishment we can think of even comes close to being comparable to what eternal separation from God is like.

“One day the Pharisees asked Jesus, “When will the Kingdom of God come?” Jesus replied, “The Kingdom of God can’t be detected by visible signs. You won’t be able to say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘It’s over there!’ For the Kingdom of God is already among you.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Heaven and hell don't come in a visible way I guess.
@scotsherman5522 Says:
Hell is a religious argument not a scriptural one. The original Greek used the word Hades and Hebrew used Sheol . Both mean a common grave. Hell Is a concoction from the 1300s brought to you by the Catholic Church.

I have often pondered the following: The Bible indicates that Lucifer was punished by God by being banished from Heaven, presumably sent down to earth and then given domain over the earth prior to human existence. If this is the case, are we not already in Hell. And if so, why would God create children that start their existence condemned to Hell? Can anyone either correct any misunderstanding I may have or explain this if it is true?

Fire located in the outer darkness.
@izygh2201 Says:
Hell is not metaphorical. "There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth" is not metaphorical. So then hell cannot be metaphorical. It's a real place or at least a real state of psychological torture which most likely makes it real. Real enough to have that experience.
@katamas832 Says:
Tbh can we just talk about eternal life after death? That scares me more than death itself honestly, whether it would take place in heaven or hell. People struggle to entertain themselves during this lifetime, what the hell would we be doing for an eternity?
@hansdemos6510 Says:
It is impossible that hell is where justice occurs, because proportionality is an integral part of justice, and infinite punishment for finite transgressions can never be proportional and therefore can never be just.

when he says a case by case basis, he means just use no common sense and believe even though its all metaphor, be translated and changed , too many times to take too seriously, THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH TAKING THE BEST AND LEAVING THE REST FROM THE BIBLE, like any book

There is a story in Muslim sources about him putting burning pieces of metal in some people's eyes. When your eyes are damaged that way you have nothing but darkness but you can still feel the heat.
@denniscrumbley8274 Says:
It is not entirely accurate to say that there is no fire in Hell because fire would produce light and since Hell is place of darkness, there must not be fire there. It is well know that natural gas does not smell or when it burns it does not emit visible light. When natural gas burns it emits infrared light which is not visible to the human eye. This is why utility companies put chemicals in their natural gas that heats our homes and lights our stoves so we can see and smell the flame when we cook. Without the chemicals in the gas we would not know how high or low to turn the burner when we cook our food. When natural gas fires emit light it is because the heat from the fire actually lights something else nearby on fire that will produce light because of the chemical make up of that secondary material fire. Therefore, Hell can be a place of fire and total darkness. God is infinitely capable of creating a place that can burn with fire without emitting light and without consuming what is being burned.
@somesauce Says:
Michael Jones from Inspiring Philosophy has an interesting and logical take on what hell is described to be. In shor, the descriptor of "fire" is understood as ultimately consuming in nature. If we worship anything other than God, it will ultimately consume us and become our identity. If we do not have identity in Christ we make our identity in something else that ultimately is temporary and never fulfilling. We know that we are given immortal/incorruptible bodies after at second coming for the purpose to inhabit the new earth that God will recreate for us in eternity. Those who die without Christ are not said to be given bodies, it wouldn't make sense that a physical fire could torment an ethereal thing. Therefore their soul/conscience seems to be detached from its native body. A conscious can still desire what it worshipped in this life, except the difference is that it can never obtain even a fragment of that which they desire. Thus the torment of the unfulfilled desire consumes the person's identity, they waste away in their conscience as they are consumed by that which they desire. Reduced down to the slavery of that desire, they will not acknowledge nor desire God in the afterlife either. Even the very presence of God would be torture to them as He was ultimately what they rejected in the first place. In the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, the picture we are painted is not one of a man screaming in unintelligent agonizination that he cannot communicate succinctly. The rich man makes requests, he holds a conversation, but he never actually asks to be removed from hell. There is a saying that goes like “the gates of hell are locked from the inside”, which is a quote from C.S. Lewis.  He used this phrase in his book The Problem of Pain, where he argued that hell is not a place where God sends people who reject Him, but rather a state of self-exclusion from God’s presence and joy. The very thing that the saints will delight in could be torture to those who never delighted in God to begin with. God looks at the heart, and what we ultimately desire, we may ultimately receive, whether in full and completeness in Christ, or the mere unfulfilled desire of something or someone we worshipped and put our identity in on earth. We all find identity in something, or someone. By nature we worship what we delight in. Let us delight in the Lord. ‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8‭-‬10‬ ‭ESV‬ [8] For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, [9] not a result of works, so that no one may boast. [10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
