Judging by this clip, something christianity definitely fails to give you is intellectual honesty and integrity.
@tylerpavlas4186 Says:
Atheism I just simply the lack of belief in a god or gods. That’s it, nothing to do with morals, nothing to do with the meaning of life, nothing to do with a worldview because it’s not a worldview, nothing to do with the universe coming from nothing and nothing to do with life after death or anything about death at all. It’s only about the lack of belief that a god exists. There is no atheist worldview we all think differently and don’t have a doctrine to follow on what is write and wrong. Stop fighting straw men and just demonstrate your god exists if you want people to stop saying they don’t believe.
@chrislister570 Says:
Sure, buddy. Keep telling yourself that as you watch more and more people walk away from your ridiculous religion. You wouldn't be making so many of these videos if atheism wasn't on the rise.
@lancebarnwell1477 Says:

@jamgill9054 Says:
First, atheism is growing, not failing. There are many flavors of atheism just like Christianity. Second, atheist don't defend priests that rape children like Christians do (nice objective morals). Third, atheism IS NOT A WORLD VIEW. Fourth, the last place I'd look for morals is the immoral god of the bible. What a vile creature. Life got so much better after deconstruction. Fifth, I have a wonderful purpose of life and so far, according to friends and family, I'm doing pretty good at it. Nobody believes the universe 'popped into existence from nothing'. What you mean to say is that WE DON"T KNOW WHAT CAME BEFORE THE BIG BANG. Saying I don't know doesn't automatically mean God did it. Remember the Christian god used hocus pocus. (psst! magic doesn't really exist) Finally, hope beyond the grave. This is the one life I know for absolute sure I get. My hope beyond the grave is that those I leave behind had a richer life for knowing me. What does Christianity offer? An eternity on your knees worshiping a jealous god that will kick you out of heaven for the slightest transgression. I think I'm in good shape.
@Talote1983 Says:
So... You are saying that you NEVER, EVER, talked to an atheist.
@bladerunner3314 Says:
You are clueless.
@Templetonq Says:
Apart from the fact that Atheism is not, of itself, a worldview, individual atheists DO say that they have become more sensitive to others because of their rejection of religion. They base their morality on consequences, rather than on obedience.
@skepticsinister Says:
Atheism is the lack of belief in your god proposition because you don’t have sufficient evidence or good reason for your god and religious beliefs. The idea that atheism has fallen on hard times is a non sequitur, nonsense from the religious apologist: There is NO god of ANY holy book. ALL gods are strictly human manufactured fiction. ALL evidence and rules of evidence point to ZERO gods. God is fiction in EVERY religion, culture, and language, everywhere, every second of every day, 365. It is just an excuse to engage in ordained hate and othering. Non-belief is JUSTIFIED! Christianity, Islam, Judaism are an absurdity full of hate and ignorance. The divinity of Jesus is fiction, likewise that of Mohammed, likewise Moses...etc for all religions for many thousands of years, ALL fiction. Your religion is false just as much as you believe the religion across the globe is false, no one gets to be right all by themselves, instead, EVERYONE’s religion are wrong. Human created god(s). Religion is no solution for the requirements of humanity in the 21st century. The sooner humanity understands this, the sooner we can get to work in unison for humanity actual.

@brianandersen1629 Says:
1. This is false. We know when we hurt somebody or make them angry, we have done something wrong. Simply working for the betterment of oneself and others works works. P.S. Somebody is a william lane craig fan. 2. This is true. This also means that we get to define our own purpose and meaning in life. We get to define ourselves the way we see fit. 3. Atheism is not a worldview. It is simply the lack of belief in a god or gods. Additionally, this guy must not speak to very many atheists because I hear this all the time from other atheists. 4. His description of naturalism is incorrect, and neither scientists nor atheists say that the world just popped into existence out of nowhere. Christians are the ones who say their god created the universe out of nothing. 5. Most atheists do not believe there is any sort of spiritual realm. So he is right in the sense that we do not believe there is anything beyond the grave. But this doesn't mean we have no hope. In fact leaves us with this one chance to make our lives and the world around us better than when we arrived. With christianity the value is placed after death Allowing it's adherence to not have to not be concerned about If they hurt themselves, others, or the planet.
@JESUS-IS-GOD316 Says:
Amen
@timothyhoft Says:
All five of those points have been thoroughly debunked, time and time again. It's as if this guy has never heard the arguments from the opposing side. In regards to point no. 3: I definitely became a more moral person when I stopped believing in god.
@maxhagenauer24 Says:
"Struggles to objectively ground moral values" Thats assuming objective morality exists. "Fails to offer purpose and meaning in life" That isnt exactly true, a big nihilistic view is that you can create your own meaning and purpose. I think the entire concept of meaning doesn't really make sense as a meaning would need a meaning itself. Who says you need a meaning anyways? Whatever that means to you guys. "Unequipped to lead people to morally transformed life" What do you mean by that? What does it mean to morally transform your life? Does that mean make you life happier? "Naturlistic worldview" Believing in god is also Believing something came out of nothing (he created everything from nothing) and also that he himself has always existed which seems just as illogical as something coming from nothing. So you are really believing more of that "popped into existence" than someone who believes the universe was the first cause. What does the god actually have over this naturstic view that I cant say the same thing about god? "Fails to offer hope beyond the grave" Everything you said in that 5th part is assuming all the stuff you listed, about Christianity, is already true, that isnt an argument against the disagreement of it.
@evangelicalsnever-lie9792 Says:
LOL, dude literally has no idea what an atheist is 😂
@bible1st Says:
Facts 💯
@mariuszczerniak6514 Says:
Amazing amen 🙏
@maixiong9113 Says:
Yes atheism is a big fail at constantly killing people . If you need a God to keep you from doing evil. Then you are evil. Religion is the same as laws, laws goes against your free will. If you need laws to keep you from destroying mankind you are evil. Especially when all these religious people keep killing each other. 😊
@darkeyeze Says:
The only thing my lack of belief in a god or gods should tell you is that I don’t believe in such things. Feel free to ask my thoughts on anything else.
@MrAuskiwi101 Says:
Lol the religious always make stuff up and pretend its true. Here trying to sell the opposite of reality. Oh that's right, thats what they do anyway lol.
@nothing-om6fn Says:
1. Objective morality doesnt exist. 2. Life has no meaning and thats why life is so fun, because we give it whatever meaning we please. 3. Simply helping each other and being kind is enough to lead people in a better direction. 4. The universe having popped into existence makes no less sense than a god having popped into existence. 5. I offer you nothing beyond the grave because I don't want to lie to you and tell you something that may or not be true. Personally, im excited for death, of course im terrified of it too since thats natural, but im excited to find out what next. I enjoy not knowing whats happens when you die, it gives me something to look forward to
@jasonnoble7302 Says:
Christianity has fallen on harder times the atheism All of your claims have logical objections You’re just say what you’re Telling your ignorant audience what they want to hear. It’s sad really
@mattslater2603 Says:
Atheism isn't supposed to do any of these things. Fail.
@jimbob4484 Says:
" Atheism struggles to objectively ground moral values and duties... " Funny that, seen as Christianity can only 'claim' to have an objective foundation for moral values and duties and otherwise fail to demonstrate it. The moral argument isn't much more than an argument from consequence.
@mukul.niranjanparekh3954 Says:
While universe and matter coming from nothingness can seem absurd, there is no obligation for the existence to make sense to us. Its just there. We are just alive and there is no purpose. Machines have purpose. Life is beautiful only when there is no purpose otherwise its a life of a slave. Also there are many observations by quantum physicists who have observed particles coming out of nothing. I strongly recommend you to research on that.
@venicacampbell3818 Says:
Hello i just wanna say that Jesus died for your sins so you can have eternal life by repenting of your sins and trusting in him. And i will continuay pray for you and your family. Have a blessed day/night and stay safe 🙏.
@baconboyxy Says:
1. That’s because there is no such thing as objective morality. 2. That’s because atheism isn’t a belief system, it only aims to refute the theist claim not to provide you a new sense of self. Also again, no objective version of purpose. 3. Atheism doesn’t try to establish a moral system 4. “Universe out of nothing” is not accurate in describing the Big Bang and is a total straw man. Either way, atheism doesn’t even advocate for any specific creation concept. 5. No duh, that doesn’t exist. Overall, your video only advocates for what you wish was true and repeatedly tries to pin atheism as some holistic worldview when atheism is simply just a claim that “I don’t believe in God” and nothing more.
@johnfairweather9188 Says:
There are more atheists in the world know than there have ever been, and Islam is taking over Christianity in numbers. Get your stats right before you open your mouth and look like a fool.
@cygnusustus Says:
First, Christianity fails to objectively ground moral values and duties. It claims to ground moral values and duties in God, but grounding values in God makes them subjective. Not objective. Second, Christianity offers no purpose or meaning in life beyond being a sycophant to a narcistic tyrant. Third, Christianity, as a worldview, is unequipped to lead people to a morally transformed life. Think about it, Christianity is about obedience, not morality. Only atheists can be moral. Fourth, the Creationist worldview, that the universe popped into existence out of nothing because of a magic sky-daddy seems absurdly far-fetched to those who base their beliefs on reason and evidence. Fifth, Christianity condemns people to an eternity of robotic servitude without any free well beyond the grave from which they can never escape.
@cygnusustus Says:
...except that atheism isn't on hard times. It growing. Christianity is declining. Maybe because they lie so much?
@michaelh3470 Says:
so then God? please I would rather not believe in a narcissistic, murdering, tyrant like the god of the Bible
@CaptainFantastic222 Says:
How deceitful this channel is… If they had such strong credentials confidence in there beliefs they wouldn’t have to lie and misrepresent others
@Sirog77 Says:
Hahahaha what a BS
@RangerJ602 Says:
Grounding your morals in the Bible is an awful stance, it dangerous and egregious
@bassmanjr100 Says:
I'm always amazed at how many atheists wait with anticipation for these videos. They think if they can post another YouTube comment, they can stop a 2000 year old religion with a billion followers that will be around long after their great grandchildren are dead. If I was a hardened atheist that has no open mind to Christianity, I wouldn't spend two seconds of my short existence arguing. None of this matters under atheistic philosophy anyway. Go play a video game or enjoy an ice creme because if you're right, that is as good as it gets. There is nothing you can change, and if you could, it doesn't matter if atheism is true. Snark and the most important questions in life don't mix.
@logicalatheist1065 Says:
Atheism is the most logical and reasonable position as no god has ever been demonstrated to exist, to go Even further, no evidence has ever supported any god existing yet... No reason to believe
@user-us5dr2qi2r Says:
Lmao, ya, you know nothing about atheists. We understand the truth of it, as for Christians, you believe in a religion that was created by man. The first mention of your God was 850 bc, the Greek God Zeus first mentioned was 1350 BC, the Abraham religions are no different than scientology. 1 that's not an argument, morals and ethics are a regional view. 2.the purposes of life is to live it, as the purpose of life is individual. 3. Not believing in religion or God frees one from the dogma of religion. 4. The universe was created from a big bang, not nothing. We can see the effect of this. There is no evidence of a God or a God creating anything. 5. As for hope beyond the grave, we would rather have hope before the grave. Life and existence its self becomes that much more important when you view death as the end. Last point sorry to say but Atheists ate the fastest growing belief on the planet, it's actualy Christians who are declining.
@DM-dk7js Says:
1. atheism struggles to determine objectively moral values: Correct. Because objective morality doesn’t exist. You have this same problem.
@philb4462 Says:
But Christianity can't give any confirmation that it's actually true. I'd say that's a bigger fail.
@somerandom3247 Says:
Atheism isnt falling on hard times.... The population of atheists is growing at a steady pace. And we are taking up a bigger percentage of the global population every time it's counted. Atheism doesn't claim that objective morals exist. So there is no need for atheism to explain int. This is actually a failure on the theist's part. It's you that have claimed that morality is objective, but have yet to demonstrate it. Nothing but your baseless claims. Same goes for ultimate meaning and purpose. No need to explain these things because they don't exist. And again this is a problem theists have, because they claim they exist, buit haven't demonstrated it. I'm beginning to see a pattern here... Atheism isnt a worldview, and doesn't try to inform anyones morality..... This is just you not understanding what atheism is.... On another note, i actually hear people say that becoming an atheist has changed their morals for the better. The naturalistic worldview is not atheism. Nor does it say that anything popped into existence from nothing. That's what you theists believe.... not atheists, and not naturalists...... I agree that it's a far-fetched concept, but it's yours to deal with... What has hope beyond the grave got to do with anything failing? Christians don't offer anything here either. all they have to offer is baseless claims and ridiculous fairy tales. This short really shows how little you understand about atheism, and Christianity as well for that matter. Atheism isnt failing, or falling on hard times. It's growing at an ever-increasing rate. Likely thanks to people like you showing exactly how little theism has going for it.

Atheism is a con game
@hansdemos6510 Says:
Dime store Jeff Goldblum is basically saying that wishful thinking is better than intellectual honesty. Atheism is not a worldview and makes no claims regarding morality; it simply is one answer to one question; do you believe in a deity? If your answer is "no", then for all intents and purposes, you are an atheist. That is it and that is all. On top of that, the assertion that starts off this rant, namely that "atheism has fallen on hard times" is untrue as there have never been as many atheists, of any stripe and color, both in absolute terms as well as in percentage of the population as there are now. This seems to be another case of wishful thinking from a Christian apologist. I can't imagine why he would be making such a simple factual mistake, though. I mean it can't be that he is fearing for his livelihood, now can it?
@Hydroverse Says:
That was a lot of information crammed into a short. Talk about densely packed.
@katamas832 Says:
None of these have anything to do with atheism, rather with atheists. But I'll have a swing at it. 1.) I don't see any issues not being able to objectively ground morality. Reality doesn't conform to our preferences. 2.) There's no ultimate meaning and purpose in life. Deal with it. 3.) Not a worldview, and plenty of people have said they had their morality change for the better once becoming an atheist. It's just they don't make a big deal out of it like theists. Also, not having that is not a failure lol. 4.) It is absurd, because it is a lie told by theists about atheists. 5.) You gonna die. Cry about it.
@incredulouspasta3304 Says:
I agree with a lot of this! These are all reasons why people tend to prefer religion. 1. It makes morality less complicated to think about. God says so, therefore do it. It's easy to understand. 2. It tells you you are special. People like being told they are special. 3. Becoming an atheist doesn't morally transform you, but leaving a religion very often does. It allows you to release the bigotry and hatred that many religions try to compel you to hold on to. 4. It's easy to say "God did it" when you don't know something. People don't like not knowing stuff, so they cling to mythology. 5. It makes over-the-top promises of rewards for believing. Yes, atheism struggles because people prefer the wishful thinking and overly simplistic answers from religion. Atheism doesn't promise answers to the great unknowns. Atheism doesn't make make promises about the future that it can't back up. Atheism doesn't assert a specific moral code. If that makes you feel sad inside, then by all means, continue to desperately cling to the mythology. Personally, I prefer to deal with reality as it actually is.
@damianabbate4423 Says:
Atheism fallen on hard times??? Did you get that stat from poling your congregation? Atheism only fails at objectively grounding moral values and duties from a believers false perspective. There is no handed down moral values. If there were, we would still be stoning children who disobey, bears would kill children who mock men of god, and cursing, drowning, burning and murdering would still be acceptable for dealing with those that don't choose your god. Thankfully we have far surpassed any biblical morality standards. Actual objective morals are made from everyone's subjective morality mostly aligning, and we as a society turn it into law. How can pretending to have a one sided relationship with a god that only exists in a book give anyone purpose and meaning. In reality we only have this one short life to live, and there is much to do to contribute to future generations, family members and society. Society lives on, not individuals. Believers aren't morally transformed from non believers. Divorce and pornography rates are statistically the same. So it seems god doesn't morally transform. People do that for themselves by being with others who practice better morality. If believers actually had an all powerful omniscient god as a resource, like John 14:12-14 says, then at least a few believers out of millions should have way above average morality, wisdom or health than non believers. But that has never been true. No one except Frank Turek, and believers who worship Frank, say the universe popped into existence from nothing. Believers say that because it fits with Genesis 1. Everyone else knows that we have no idea how the universe formed or if it's timeless. Assumptive pseudo science claims by believers to support their holy book are hilarious. Atheism's hope beyond the grave is for the betterment of future society, not like selfish believers that want to live forever and everyone else that doesn't believe to be fried in hell and discard the planet for a new one. You don't believe in things to make them true, you believe in things that have been proven to be true already. The idea of god is unobservable, unverifiable, unfalsifiable, unnecessary and unlikely.
