The mental gymnastics displayed here are absolutely beyond belief. "As in Adam all die, in Christ all shall be made alive... but every man (person) in his own order... the last enemy to be defeated is death... so God shall be all in all..." "... thou shalt not get out of there until thou hast paid the last penny..." "The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, nor will he keep His anger forever..." Let God be true, and every man a liar! Love and blessings, Ally 👩🏻‍🦰🇦🇺💟✝️🐟🌈🙏

My understanding from a Pastor, you Frank and I both love and listen to; who said those who refuse Christ do not have their name in the Lambs book of Life therefore it will be as though they did not exist. Perhaps we will not have the capacity to remember them at all??
@inotterwords6115 Says:
What a chilling answer. God will, according to Turek, literally strip our love from us. This explanation is also non-biblical. Why would God strip us of our love for our fellows, when He himself still loves sinners? Or is Turek suggesting that, at that time, even God will not love his children who are in hell?
@gag928 Says:
what if the memory of the lost will be eradicated in heaven but in hell, how the unbeliever remembers those that believe remains. the rich man cried out to Lazarus, but Lazarus couldn't see him

Alcorn sounds like a degenerate who is trying really hard to justify his fascination with violence. 1:12 even contradicts multiple passages from your own Bible - I respect that he has the integrity to at least admit that much.
@unsightedmetal6857 Says:
A case can be made that hell is not eternal suffering, but is rather a destruction of your soul. This is called "annihilationism". So any passage that says "everlasting punishment" or similar could be referring to a single, quick punishment (destruction), the consequences of which last forever. And Isaiah 65:16-17 seems to imply that we will not remember anything that would trouble us in heaven.
@william3347 Says:
Some will be saved just because they are a loved one of a believer, there are passages about entire households saved due to one. God is looking for any way to save souls even taking our punishment upon himself on the cross. Then while dying on the cross Jesus advocated ignorance defense for those around saying- 'Father forgive them they don't know what they're doing'. Think about it; He pleaded forgiveness for unrepentant non-believers who were mocking him as he suffered and died on their behalf.

If you are in Heaven and you know of people who are in Hell by their own free choice, you are going to know that is just. You are going to know that they don’t want to be in Heaven with Jesus anyway. They are content with where they are and not mad. Hell cannot veto Heaven. People are going to get justice. But there’s actually Justice in Heaven too. We are going to be rewarded for our good works. We’ll be there on account of grace but will be rewarded for good works. Or some rewards can be taken away for some evil you have done as well. But your admittance into Heaven is based on grace and your place in Heaven is based on the works you have done. The same is true in Hell. There are degrees of punishment in Hell just like degrees of rewards in Heaven. Jesus implies this in Luke 12 about people who knew what the master wanted him to do and disobeyed anyway and people who didn’t have as much knowledge they were beaten with fewer blows as Jesus said. God is a God of infinite Justice. He’s also a god of infinite love. He can’t allow injustice to go unpunished. So what does he do? He punishes himself in our place. That’s what the gospel is all about. We should ALL be in Hell without his sacrifice for us. Because he’s an infinite just being. But even God can’t force FREE creatures to love him because love HAS to be freely given. So what is God suppose to do? In the end there’s only two kinds of people. Those who say to God, “Thy will be done!” Or those to whom God says, “Thy will be done!” So Hell basically means God is just and loving and man is free. Now emotionally this may not resonate. Especially after someone has gone through a tragedy. But LOGICALLY it makes perfect sense.
@fidenful Says:
Say children, here is the good news, Heaven and Hell are concepts invented by primitive ignorant people, when you die you die, you cease to exist, just like before you were born, nothing to fear, enjoy this only life you will ever know, do the best you can.
@YophiSmith Says:
It's something many cannot understand. We love our perception of who people are. If a person willingly goes to hell...think about what happens if we are shown what they TRULY are and were? Imagine if we knew that these people we loved...HATED God in their soul? Imagine being revealed that they hated YOU even? Imagine the deepest secrets revealed that show that the person was wicked to the core and would have raped children had God not judged them sooner? Our perspective can be so small sometimes. That's why I just thank God and keep moving.

I still struggle with this. Maybe I'm not ready to be in God's presence. I don't know.
@elvispresley3234 Says:
I usually agree with you, but on this one, both of you are smoking crack. In my opinion, the answer is; in this world, we cannot answer this until we experience it. God's ways are past finding out. Perhaps it would be better to not feel like we have to answer every question, especially one that is so speculative. I have loved ones that I question made it to heaven. I plan on being there by the grace of God. Even though I wonder about them, I'm content (in this world) to cross that bridge when I come to it, and I trust God to know how to handle both them and me along these lines when the time comes. Put the crack pipe away :))
@Chrisg78901 Says:
I struggle with this because if people objectively knew the truth I can’t imagine any of them not accepting Christ. People are products of their environment and the church has done a horrible job representing Christ.
@eltonron1558 Says:
The truth according to God, is the dead are DEAD. The dead know, and do nothing. THE GRAVE, or cremation box,is where your loved ones are, because Christ said they are. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, NOT STILL LIVING IN A FIREY TORMENT. Mt 10:28. The wage of unforgiven sin, is DEATH, not the GIFT of life, to suffer and burn for eternity as if God is a psychopath who rubs his hands with glee. HELL, translated from Greek, in the new testament is the GRAVE, the pit the abode of the DEAD, NONE LIVING. Hades, the underworld, HAS NO ONE LIVING. ONLY MYTH has anyone LIVING in the underworld. Ro. 6:23. AND YOU DON'T NEED TO WORRY IF THEY DIDN'T CONVERT, by the word of Christ. He even forgave the thief on the cross immediately. Mt. 12:31-32 Mk. 3:28
@philb4462 Says:
That's nice. John can tell his daughter that God will make him feel nothing for her any more and anything she had that led him to care about her will be stripped away. That way he can be happy knowing she's suffering for all eternity. What a lovely god John and Frank have.
@gordo191 Says:
Do you believe GOD will let any of us still be conscious " alive ," and burning in hell fire for eternity well if you think that you don't know the real character of GOD
@psyck Says:
I think this is the best explanation that I’ve heard. We love the parts of people that reflect God and when they choose to be separate from God, that part dies it’s second, permanent, death and the sinful part is tormented for eternity. It seems harsh but more loving and fair if you really think about it. If the part we love dies, then the “person” we loved doesn’t suffer for eternity. It’s merciful really.
@mbfrommb3699 Says:
I’m sorry this is a terrible video. If you don’t understand the topic why boil it down to a detached philosophical ethereal response. Then the conclusion is I can’t prove this biblically but I think it’s true. Based on what?? Your relativism about God? Here are some things we find eternal Hell wasn’t a doctrine in the Old Testament and there is a reason for this. Luke 16 shows us that before the cross Abraham who was counted as righteous was in Hades and so was the tormented rich man. Now Hades isn’t eternal we see this in Revelation 20 on judgement day where death and Hades are cast into the lake of fire aka eternal hell. Before the cross Heaven was closed to only 2-3 we are aware of. Moses Elijah and Enoch. When Jesus died Ephesians 4, 1 Peter 3 and the Apostles creed tell us he descended to “hell” but it was hades. Since that’s where everyone was and he preached. Well who did He preach to for 3 days? Those like Abraham who already believed? No those in Hades who were lost. Revelation 1 says He holds the keys to death and hades because He conquered both at His resurrection. Jesus opened up Heaven for all who died who believed in Him. “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 But where does everyone else go? To Hades where they’ve always gone. Eternal Hell aka the lake of fire aka the second death is sentenced at judgment day. NO ONE IS IN ETERNAL HELL RIGHT NOW. The population of eternal hell is zero. No one not even the devil has been there. Revelation tells us the best and the false prophet are first Rev 19:20 at the 2nd coming then Satan then judgment day for all of humanity (except believers who are with Jesus). Hades is where the unbelievers go when they die. The purpose of Hades is to show the afterlife is real as we see in Luke 16. People are conscious and reminded of their lives and what they had done. In Matthew 25 Jesus says the everlasting fire was created for Satan and his angels. This is a very high bar and explains eternal hell. Satan and his angels were there at creation Job 38. They have been before the throne of God Job 1. Satan is called a liar from the beginning meaning he knows the truth and still chose to rebel. Even in Revelation 20 he’s chained for 1000 years and immediately upon release gathers the rebels of the world against Jesus in Jerusalem. No remorse or repentance but eternal rebellion and desire for destruction. Notice how Jesus qualifies who goes to hell, those who have never done anything for anyone else. I think we call them psychopaths and sociopaths. Eternal Hell will be for those who even knowing the truth and standing before God will desire death and destruction and will never repent or feel remorse forever. I don’t know when Christians began screwing this topic up so badly. But it’s sad to watch
@bethanytaylor7656 Says:
I’ve been thinking about this topic a lot. The earth seems more ripe for judgment by the day-by the hour. I have friends and family who rebel against Gods word. The Lord even now has helped me to release anxiety about it and to surrender them to His hands. Just think about all he has done for a chance to redeem them! It won’t be without blood, sweat and tears on the part of the church and Jesus that they go to hell.
@elainejohnson3603 Says:
As there will be no more sorrow, mourning or pain in heaven, l can only believe that God will remove all remembrance of our lost loved ones from our memory. It will be an act of divine mercy, nothing less than this makes sense!

@johndennison3140 Says:
For as Jesus Himself retained the markings of crucifixion in His body, after the resurrection (John 20:27)! I believe we will have the ability to know what we were redeemed from in our former lives while having the power to not remember it in a way that causes grief,I believe that in the same way God has the power to “remember [our] sins no more” (Heb. 8:12, ESV). We will also not remember the ones we may of loved here on earth our memories of them will be blotted out.

Jesus, the Prince of Peace said: “Do you think that I have come to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. » (Luke_12:51), “For I have come to put a division between a man and his father, between a daughter and her mother, and between a daughter-in-law and her mother-in-law” (Matthew 10:35). If you want to be a true Christian and truly follow the words of Jesus, Jesus asked you to HATE your mother, your father, your wife, your children, your loved ones if they do not follow the doctrine of Jesus (for example your mother is Muslim, your father is an atheist, your sister is Mormon…) and if you don't. you are not a true follower.

This is still a huge concern for me (sorry, but the answer based on Alcorn's book has not relieved me). I have some close and beloved friends and of course relatives who don't believe in the Gospel, and I am terrified thinking of them burning in hell. I'm not even sure if my mother is in Heaven (she was a Catholic), and that worries me a lot. Unfortunately, I still haven't got an answer that can ease my concern.
@lillylynn3370 Says:
When scripture says, there will be no more tears in heaven, what does that mean?.....Rev. 21 Verses 1 to 4 He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them; [4] he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away.

Because we will know that they rejected Jesus because of their sin. And they reaped what they sowed. They chose death instead of life.

What he says is biblical. The Bible says we will look at the people in hell and abhor them. Right now the love one dies and there will be sorrows and people will go on without thinking of them. Like in the movies, you see a character smoking their parent ashes.
