You presented the evidence for God but for some reason you can't find evidence for purgatory. Come on.. You should find the evidence easily in the New Testament. How on earth you don't know that.? How have you come to that conclusion?
@waynehawkins8934 Says:
The Roman Catholic priests have the belief that they can sexually abuse children over and over repent and go to heaven
@Whyde_Earp777 Says:
Amen and amen. This country is going down hill because people are starting to lack conviction. Repenting to the creator and the all mighty is very humbling and very much a result of convictions.

@patrickgilchrist1788 Says:
Repentance is mandatory, and absolutely necessary if you wish for Jesus' ultimate sacrifice of innocent life to be present in your soul when you face God.
@patrickgilchrist1788 Says:
Wait a minute, you don't think repentance is necessary?! So you believe in faith alone, right? Faith without works is dead. If you do not repent you do not partake in Christ sacrifice. You go to hell because you CHOOSE to turn from God. Seems pretty just to me.
@duartepaintinghandymanservices Says:
Confessing and asking for forgiveness is two different things, yes we out to confess and at the same time thank the Lord because He has already forgiven us, I wish frank would stop saying we need to repent, you see repentance has nothing to do with feeling sorrow for sin, its a change of mind that we all go through before accepting Christ as Saviour, you can repent and not believe but you cannot believe without for repenting. Metanoa, look it up in a strong greek concordance, it was a bad translation. All our sins past, present and future have been paid for, asking for forgiveness is like not actually believing that God has paid it in full, thank Him, do your best to not do it again and move forward.
@Cumberland_swasige Says:
Why should anyone confess and repent. If God made us and is all knowing and all powerful he knew that we would 'sin' and effectively made us do it. As he controls all our actions it's God's fault we sin so asking us to repent is perverse and symptomatic of a narcissist.
@pharmagator Says:
Unless you repent, you will never see God!
@AppealToTheStoned Says:
"If Christ's sacrifice covers unconfessed sins then who goes to hell?
@danielmp-007 Says:
He says, "I don't think purgatory is true!" As if he has any doubt. PURGATORY is from the pits of hell, and so is the Catholic church. PERIOD!
@stillraven9415 Says:
Catholic is pagan not Christian. They give their pagan gods, beliefs, and traditions Christian names because it was popular to be Christian.
@T-REX677 Says:
The millennium will be a time of teaching. Many will learn the truth and ask for forgiveness if they have not already. The example of Jesus going into hell at his death to teach salvation saved multitudes. If they were saved they woukd have asked for forgiveness.
@thierry860 Says:
So, if a pedo confess he can be in heaven with his victims right ?
@KevinShively-f2r Says:
Yes
@Furryfattal Says:
Confession would be between me and the lord. The false church can stay tf out of it and be happy we even acknowledge them.
@ktcarroll4723 Says:
Scripturally at the beginning of the church age we repent be water baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost unfortunately in 2024 every church makes up their own way of salvation. Look up what the apostles done when asked(after they were filled with the Holy Ghost and water baptized) what must I do to be saved it’s in there but not the Joel Olsteen prayer John MacAuthor Benny Himn etc etc Read your Bible people and stop falling for every wind of doctrine
@andrewjung6987 Says:
No, this is not correct. The good doctor here is making a terrible mistake. If you have truly accepted Christ, then your actions come from gods will, not your own. Meaning, you no longer sin. The devil knows this, and convinced the church that being “good enough” and just “accepting Jesus” would get you to heaven. This is wrong.

Did he miss some words from 1st John 1:9 or is that a different version than King James???
@andrewbangs9073 Says:
That's what you get when you got brainwashed by your pastor before you😂😂😂😂 only the teachings of the true church founded by Christ can preach correctly what the Bible tells us, that's why this poor pastor doesn't believe in purgatory, because their teachings has been corrupted from the start when they rebel against the true church😂
@amieltneis Says:
He missed there big time. Catholics just follow what Jesus said. If you forgive sins here on earth it is also forgive. In heaven.
@Palleoge Says:
Dr. Turek isn't totally wrong, but it would help, if you're going to mention the Catholic position, to be a bit more nuanced. This topic includes ideas such as "perfect contrition", "mortal sin", "venial sin", etc.
@carlosspaniard Says:
We need to confess our sins to a representative of Jesus that's His doctrine. James 5:15 John 20:23
@ricardo-lf7cx Says:
Hold on to your horses mate, purgatory is in the Bible in many places… it is not just a Catholic thing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@lionmaster2845 Says:
amen
@bratmucha Says:
It acknowledges the sin. If someone doesn't repent then does he believe he sinned (did sth wrong)? And if he say he does not have a sin then he is a liar, 1 John 1:8 (and 9 was already nicely quoted)
@debbieheckman Says:
Confession helps us heal, too. It really is good for the soul. God knows what is good for us and it is very good to have that deeper relationship with our Father.
@DeusVultTKD Says:
Man. Im so on board. He is a great teacher/preacher.
@xgorex4218 Says:
I am a Roman Catholic. No one with sin will enter to the heaven. Only holy soul will have such privilege. The death and resurrection of Jesus is a “gate” to salvation, not an automatic salvation. So you need to be purified in purgatory. Simple.

@alfredohernandez7533 Says:
The Bible says “ this is the will of God even your sanctification” sanctification is the process of being cleaned, set apart to be used. Confession brings progressive sanctification. We get cleaned daily like a dirty cup. There is 1. initial sanctification (when we got saved) 2. Progressive sanctification (confessing our sins, staying clean as a Christian.) 3. Final sanctification (when we get a totally new perfect body.
@owemylife Says:
And the Catholic church decided that Christ is not our high priest, and that we cannot go directly to God, with Jesus as our intercessor. But istead we must confess our sins to a man whose sins may or may not be far more egregious than our own.
@armysapper12b Says:
Ironic that Christians can’t agree on the supposed word of god. Why have a Bible when everyone has their own opinion and interpretation. I know, because it’s all BS.
@blakethompson8686 Says:
When you forgive others, it releases you from their negative thoughts and actions. God is the greatest forgiver. May we forgive the way we want to be forgiven. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
@GregoryMarone Says:
We are to be in a continuous state of repentance and worship at all times. There is never a time in this life that we are sinless. Christ was the only one. Yes Mary had sin!
@Zack-f6p Says:
But if you die with unconfessed/unrepentant sins then you haven’t allowed Christ’s sacrifice to be applied to you.
@RyanMann-jo7im Says:
Empty your wallet here!
@davidcaffey757 Says:
As a Catholic I hope you’re right otherwise I’m going to be in Purgatory awile😢
@caliconservative20 Says:
Confession is ongoing. Confession is part of daily discipline. Confession is agreeing with God that I have fallen short of His glory.
@yuliuswijayanto843 Says:
I'm with Frank, Jesus is more ghan enough.
@mamawlife7852 Says:
Thank you for explaining the catholic belief on purgatory.
@FolloweroftheWAY777 Says:
The sacrifice & blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us when we are baptized for the remission of sins in Jesus Christ name.
