@raymondcornielle8263 Says:
no purpose without god? your purpose of life is whatever purpose you give it.
@tdktube Says:
"With Jesus or against him."? ...Only a Sith deals in absolutes. You don't prove yourself right by proving someone wrong.
@azophi Says:
As a non Christian I occasionally take my child to a variety of religious services.
I’ve also let them know they are free to practice any religion or non religion in my house. I encourage you to tell your child that :)
@francishooper9548 Says:
You start by miss-stating what Dawkins actually says. He believes religion should be taught as a historical set of beliefs. A god is not necessary for moral standards to be developed - every group of humans has developed a set of morals and why do you believe there has to be some purpose to life imposed by a god. People develop there own purpose to life. Teaching young people the truth for the purpose of teaching the truth is not indoctrination - teaching people that any religion has a basis in fact is indoctrination because there is no truth to this. Athiests argue that there is no reason to believe in a God , it is up to the believers to prove the existence of their god.
@jesterc.6763 Says:
"To teach them there is no God" that line right there proves the ignorance of humble christians. Another misrepresentation of atheism. Atheism isn't anything. There is no church where athiest gather around to perpetually self affirm that there is no god. Typical painting the world with a broad brush. This is why i left religion. It blocks us from fully recognizing our fallacies and biases of our thinking. Not all Atheist share the same believes as much as not all theist believes in the same god or christians having distinct denominations worshiping the same god, reading the same book and yet there are over 1000 distinct christians each with their own seprate claims about the nature of reality and the god they worship.
@karlwhite2733 Says:
If you tell them the bible and xtianity are TRUE, you're lying to them
@royhiggins7270 Says:
In today's edition of the lies and hypocrisy of the Trump-Republican-Jesus Taliban is "The Texas Senate on Saturday acquitted Attorney General Ken Paxton of 16 articles of impeachment alleging corruption and bribery, his most artful escape in a career spent courting controversy and skirting consequences of scandal." There is no crime or corruption or hypocrisy that Christians will not embrace as long as it allows them the ability to force their sanctimony, tyranny and delusions upon the nation. I have no doubt that if Satan actually existed...Christians would vote for them because their sanctimony will always be more important to them than what they say they believe about christ.
@avishevin1976 Says:
The entire purpose of this channel is indoctrination.
@norayr3975 Says:
Atheists have done the most extreme examples of indoctrination (socialism/communism).
@michaelmadsen-yq5kw Says:
Educating our children to strongly adhere to Biblical fact is both indoctrinating and education. We want to ensure this occurs, so we indoctrinate them as young children, and as they learn and mature they are then educated. Teach them in the ways of the Lord EARLY so they do not part from them later in life.
@CornerstoneMinistry316 Says:
Yes
@JamesRichardWiley Says:
Telling children that Bible stories are real is not education.

@shadowlazers Says:
Is it possible to make your arguments without saying some of the dumbest s*** without God there is no moral objectivity with God there is no moral objectivism with God it's just his opinions of morality without God it's society's opinions of morality but you say without objective morality there's no meaning to life and how does one lead to the other yes teaching religion to Children is mental abuse
@Job.Siciliano Says:
I am Christian ✝️
I have a Book of Mormon, the Qu’ran, Christopher Hitchens’ god is not Great, a book called: Why there is no God, & many more books, but I’ve come to the conclusion that Jesus is Lord 🙏🏽
Question everyone & everything, even Christianity.
Dissect them all
@Futureyeti3 Says:
What's wrong with telling a child they are not an accident? That morals are real? If God is not real, then were accidents and life is meaningless. Sounds pretty child abusive to tell a kid those things to me. Why do ar avoid telling children they will die eventually? Because that's too much for a child to handle, but if they are told they are loved and have purpose, they find happiness. A godless world is a sad and depressing world where injustice ultimately wins.
@harveywabbit9541 Says:
The Christian Savior is in my front yard at this very moment and he is rising. Later, he will go down in my backyard and I will be separated from God. Before going to sleep, I pray that he will return in the morning.
His return is proof that prayer works. He never asks for money or that I bend my knees to him.

This Women's very presence Teaching on YouTube about Things of God is In your Face INDOCTRANATION.
@CaptainFantastic222 Says:
Indoctrination- the process of teaching a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically.
If you proclaim to children a set of ideas, values etc, and then tell them if they don’t follow they were burn in fire for eternity that might be indoctrination
@philb4462 Says:
I don't think Dawkins is saying you should teach children anything without questioning it. That's a total mischaracterisation. Scientific development relies on people asking questions and challenging accepted ideas. He would be in favour of teaching children how to think critically and equip them assess things for themselves, including religion. That's the total opposite of religion unless the parents are very liberal about what they believe.
@marquisinspades1 Says:
Where’s the citation for this Dawkins quote?
@mick20075 Says:
Dawkins think God is a magic genie that grants wishes thats why he hates God because God didnt grant his wish 😂😂😂
Dawkins also agrees with pedophilia 😂
Dawkins is a bitter old man
I hope he never changes cause he clearly doesnt care and so he gets what he wants
@joostvanrens Says:
1:03 that is not steelmanning the other side
@somerandom3247 Says:
Under that metric, almost every christian i have ever encountered in indoctrinated. Especially frank.
1. The "evidence" presented by christians is secearly lacking, and can barely be called evidence.
2. Most christians dont understand what atheism is. Frank is a perfect example pf this, he always argues his strawman version of atheists as apposed to their actual position.
3. Most christians ive encountered havent even read the bible, and refuse to answer questions about their beliefs. Again, fran is a great example of this. His usual tactic is the change the subject, answer a different question, or outright dodge rhe question altogether.
@somerandom3247 Says:
Here is a handy test,
If they call themselves a christian, or believe the bible is true, it's indoctrination.
@marcusmuse4787 Says:
I think it's funny how dawkins says believers are delusional, but he entertains the idea that aliens could've made the universe. ok guy, anything but God made the universe, gotcha. lol evolution has been indoctrinating our children for years we have ernst haeckels work still in textbooks and it was found to be fraudulent like 100 and something years ago but you're still keeping that lie alive.
@MrBears25 Says:
Was the cross a work? Iv searched for this on YouTube it’s interesting I haven’t found anything on this.
@JamesWillis-yy5px Says:
Schools were always about Indoctrination. Indoctrination into a colonialists anti-Christ cult.
@thierry860 Says:
So... you teach the Bible, a book that condones slavery and incest and you don't call it endoctrination ?
Do you really believe your criminal cult is moral in any way ?
@Thundawich Says:
You value education over indoctrination, that is great. I am curious though, have you ever personally done a study on the gospel of John to determine whether or not it should be included within biblical canon? Do you know anyone that has done that? Have you done that for ANY biblical book?.... Do you know anyone who has?
@Tinesthia Says:
It is pretty incredible just how much decent information and false information is packed in this tiny video.
Focusing on evidence and education and epistemology (how to know if something is true, not just telling what is true) is great advice. Representing opposing views fairly. But you can’t possibly say this is what most churches, families, or Sunday schools do. Frank Turek doesn’t even do so much of the time.
Teaching religion with scorn as Dawkins says is not the same as teaching that no god exists or to teach that one shouldn’t be religious. There are plenty of religious beliefs you and I would both agree we should view with scorn, like the view that women should not be allowed to speak/teach in church. Or that it was morally good to for Israel to sell their own daughters as permanent property slaves.
@harveywabbit9541 Says:
Biblical Hell is rapidly approaching, make hay while the sun shines. Hell is described as the five months of winter that can harm man Rev 9.5. The leader is the scorpion (Scorpio).
@thebumblebeemovie3514 Says:
Every philosophical claim and idea stems from faith in the evidence they have, which is found in critical thinking and exploration with logic. Mathematics is a form of faith because you can logically reason the answers to the problem in physics but most of the time can’t test it. History requires faith because you can’t test an event happened by conventional means, you can only rely on the information and documentations you have now. Most of everything we believe is based on inference and logic with “concrete” sciences providing very little to sustain those beliefs. The industrial postmodernist world we live in today relies HEAVILY on biases and assumptions and disregards the even the potential for anything transcendent of the physical reality to exist due to those biases.
In education whether we like it or not, there is always going to be some indoctrinated biases or assumptions, what’s important is to think critically about them so that you can get the full picture: explore as many possibilities as possible and base your values on what is most reasonably true based on the evidence presented. For Christian’s who do their critical research and archaeological homework, it’s God being the creator, humanity breaking relationship with God, and Jesus Christ dying for humanity to pay the cost of breaking the law and reestablish the relationship with God.
Everyone is going to have a perspective and opinion, including what the base level of education should be. But what a child believes about God and morality is the responsibility of the parents, not teachers. The teachers are only to teach the basics (history, math, language, economics, physics, etc) and to ask questions: think critically. That’s it. Everything else is up to the parents and children to work on.
@77tubuck Says:
No, it is not indoctrination. Richard Dawkins is not indoctrinating children. You see a good teacher would expose their students to someone's view like Richard Dawkins and the view of a person who believes in god. A good teacher would also make sure that their students knows that there is no right or wrong answer to the question of does god exist. Richard Dawkins is not a teacher. He is simply expressing a viewpoint. It is the job of teachers to expose students to many contradictory viewpoints.
@EdwardRomanOficial Says:
Again I, as a father in the future, would teach my child what truly edifies; then the rest is up to him/her as he/she grows.
@The-F.R.E.E.-J. Says:
If Christ is only a competing idea amongst a myriad of other ideas, we have nothing of significance. However, if Christ is the One True & living God, who personally connects to each one of us who seek Him, we have something that is completely unique from all other beliefs - whether secular or theistic.
@harveywabbit9541 Says:
Jesus is the savior Sun, anyone for being raptured up to join our savior?
@BLAM777 Says:
We believe homeschooling is theyway to go so your kids won't be indoctrinated. Gods word is the truth don't really care what other have to say about that.
@harveywabbit9541 Says:
It is easy to prove that the Biblical Supreme God exists. Just point to the Sun.
Our Lord, God, the savior sun, is the creator, destroyer, and preserver. In India, our savior sun is Brahma (Abram), Siva (Haran), and Vishnu (Nahor).
@friisteching3433 Says:
Being able to demonstrate the position to be accurate is a very good way to tell indoctrination from education.
Saying God exist, but cannot demonstrate it. Indoctrination.
Say Evolution is impossible because it says kinds evolve, but cannot demonstrate that is what evolution says. Indoctrination.
Say evolution is the change in genetic material of a population over time, but demonstrate that is what it actually says in science. Education.
Saying the universe is fine-tuned, but cannot demonstrate it. Indoctrination.

@jeffphelps1355 Says:
The disciples always question Jesus and Jesus patiently answering them in parables so he could dumb it down for us so we can understand
@larzman651 Says:
Exactly , those that say you indicated children with the Bible are calling the kettle black , someone on this planet is always trying to indoctrinate them.
For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whomsoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life 🙌. I would rather kids learn moral values as opposed to the filth atheism provides
@magatism Says:
