I was diagnosed Stress Reaction in February 2013 and Chronic PTSD in August 2013 from Domestic Violence. It is a daily struggle. When people realize how reactive I am they constantly push my buttons to get a reaction out of me. It is so draining. It takes hours out of my day and makes it difficult to do daily tasks or to stay on a schedule or even a routine. I was raised to turn the cheek. PTSD shook my faith. Now I fly off at the mouth and I cuss for people to leave me alone and when they still won't leave me alone I end up threatening whenever I feel physically or emotionally threatened. I tried so hard to ignore them gave up on trying and ended up coming off as a *itch as I felt outraged and guarded. I'm trying to go back to turning the cheek and praying but my damage is severe. I had been abused for 8 years including being choked. I've also endured violence from another relationship since then. I have a child now and I not only want but NEED to be able to control my temper so that I can function and take care of him and my home. I also struggle with Major Depression and have a tendency to feel overwhelmed and depressed when my housework falls behind because of my all too time consuming Triggers. Where I live, if I speak up to one person several people gang up on me. I live in an apartment building. It's a bad neighborhood and I'm low income on Disability. Part of me doesn't want to go back to being a shy quiet doormat but I can't be the loud defensive person that I've become either. I need prayer please ♥️
