Which church are we speaking of? For example, in the UK the traditional churches (Church of England) are closing down rapidly due to a major decline in numbers, but these were not a good representation of Christ. Many preach not to the true gospel and certainly not living by the word. Smaller churches for example where I attend is an evangelical church with born-again believers, are these types of churches are doing well. God will shake the church to see who is really for him.

God has begun to shake cultural christians out of His true church… this shaking will become greater, progressively more violent as official persecution ramps up in the next few years… Is your god (and my god) ultimately money, comfort and convenience or is He the one true God of of the Bible and Jesus Christ whom He has sent? Job 3:15; 19:26-27; Daniel 3:17-18…

I hope those in the cup are extending a hand and saying to those leaving the pot, 'please don't jump into the fire.'
@paulwiederhold7629 Says:
Maybe people have been leaving over the years is because they could clearly see all the supposed variations between denominations. Each and everyone claims the truth, or maybe worse yet, they tell what they don't believe - 'we speak in tongues,' 'we don't believe that.' 'women can't preach,' 'we don't believe that,' 'we meet on Saturday,' 'we don't believe that.' 'we eat clean', 'we don't believe that.' And on, and on... So one would ask, how does this One God with the One Messiah, and the One True Word have all these different "beliefs/truths"?
@paulwiederhold7629 Says:
If the church really cared; how many actually went after those that left? I can tell you after living in different places and adjusting my attendance over time. I mean we didn't move on after 2 or 3 visits. Not one church reached out to us after attending for 3 to 12 months to ask or discover why.

Grow the size of the cup! God bless you J Warner Wallace!
@QuinnBoone Says:
Which church are we speaking of? If it's the body of Christ, you don't leave it. If we speak of religious ideology or satanic divisional denominations then yes I believe people are leaving this fake form of Christianity..

Sign of the times the great calling away.
@markhanson2876 Says:
No no no no…. The “success” of Jesus has never been based on numbers! The success of Jesus has always been being faithful to Jesus! Only 8 entered Noah’s ark! Only 2 of the vast vast numbers of Israelites that left the Exodus from Egypt entered the promised land! Only 300 fought and were victorious with Gideon! Only 1 had the courage and godly faithfulness to fight Goliath! Only 1 disciple stood with Jesus at his crucifixion!!! How many in the church of Laodicea are actually hot for him!!!
@1family4me Says:
I honestly don't even like to call myself a Christian anymore because of the way some "Christians" act. Many don't even know what being a Christian means. They don't know what they believe and why they believe it. I'm a follower of Jesus trying my best to become a disciple.
@tommystacker3286 Says:
Today’s churches by and large are compromised. How? 1. They are often run like a corporation, a business, and a franchise more than a church of God. 2. By being in partnership with the government through a 501c3. 3. By embracing the many false movements such as the NAR, word of faith, the ecumenical movement, and the progressive movement to name a few. As a result, I believe many Christians are leaving the compromised/apostate church, I don’t blame them. I realize this may sound a bit harsh, but it is a harsh reality.
@Yesica1993 Says:
The church left us when they closed in 2020 and then refused us entry unless we wore useless muzzles. For those who did allow entry, some churches even segregated between injected and un-injected.

This was a wonderful set of interviews! God bless you and your family, JWW! God bless Patrick Gentempo and his family too :)
@stuartofblyth Says:
God: "What's that in your hand". Moses: "My staff." God: "I can use that". Elisha; "What have you go at home?" Woman: "A jar of oil". Elisha: "God can use that." Jesus: "What have you got?" Andrew: "5 loaves and 2 small fish". Jesus: "I can use those." God "What have you got?". J Warner Wallace: "I'm a cold-case detective". God: "I can use that." What have YOU got?
@SymphoniasStories Says:
Leaving Churchianity, probably, not Christianity. If you are a true Christian you won't walk away because you are a disciple, not a cultural "Christian."
