It is still true that if Bible scholars and teachers, pastors and parishioners would follow William Miller's method of Bible study it would save them being deceived on so many points. This is underscored by the fact of him taking for granted the current teaching on what the sanctuary was instead of searching it out for himself. Many today take one verse or even one phrase in one verse and build a doctrine upon it. No wonder so many are deceived on so many points.
