Hey greetings from S. Korea. I have listened to Joel for almost more than a decade. I also one time found myself broke and miserable.. At that time I didn't have a proper job and no future to speak of. Even I left a prayer request for me on the Lakewood website for help. Then I decided to listen to his messages more often. And I started to feel like God is really on my side working in my favor even though I didn't really see and feel it. I kept speaking about abundance and favor in my life as Joel told me.
Now I say I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for Joel and his ministry for sure. One day I would really like to visit Lakewood church and speak to Joel. Plus, he is the funniest man I've ever known!!
