When I finally learned how to watch for His gifts and blessings, and to listen for His answers to my prayers, I would thank Him for each and every thing I received. In return for that, I received even more, and then more, until I had a full understanding of what the phrase, My cup runneth over, truly meant. I once asked the Father for some fresh fruit, I have no means to get it for myself, for the next six days I received seven bananas, 2 bowls of sliced oranges, some cups of diced melons, and fruit cocktail. The next month I was in isolation with MRSA, my fourth time catching it, and I didn't get a banana one morning and I was upset with myself for taking for granted God would just send it, I should have asked for it in prayer, I told myself, then I thought about, when I get back to my own room I would order some blueberry Poptarts, my favorite flavor, just a few hours later my nurse practitioner came in holding a box of, and I promise you this is true, a big box of blueberry poptarts, saying she thought I might enjoy them. With a huge smile I looked skyward and said, Thank you Father. God and Jesus both answer all prayers, we just need to learn how to receive them, they may come over the radio, from TV, or many times, from people with whom you cross paths.
