To die to self means to resist earthly riches and status and be humble preferring to give spiritual and temporal riches, for the good of community. Has this woman, or will this woman, give up her wealthy lifestyle for the common good, or just mouth sanctimonious platitudes for which she lives, as an exception ? When being tested daily in situations that are beyond what the average person experiences, situations that make a person want to scream but all you can do is scream or swear in your room all while asking God to direct you and guide you and praying daily. It's exhausting and difficult to hold it inside every single day😵💫😭 yet... I keep the faith that better days are ahead and try to walk the Christian walk even though sometimes it feels like I'm stumbling.
