Amen! How did Jesus feel about taking up the cross, being tortured and bearing all of our sins? He commands us to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily and follow Him. Not just on easy, sunny, fun days or when we feel like it. He wants us to be living sacrifices. He says “If you love Me, obey My commands.” I really need this reminder about every hour of every day, because it’s so hard to live the crucified life. Only possible if/when we abide in the Lord and His Word moment by moment, and when we get off track, confess, repent and thank God for bringing you back!
