All of this, wherever Joyce mentions 'kids or children', I've been replacing it with 'husband'. I've been trying to deal with his alcoholism for a very long time and find I've been doing so many things a parent does for their children and I know I need to follow God and stop always trying to rescue him and let him learn by suffering the consequences. But the problem is that his poor choices always have some detrimental effect on my life too so I've been torn on where I should help, because to do nothing would harm me, or to let things play out and let him go through it. I've actually saved his life numerous times and would do it again if it got to that point, but short of that, I struggle with where I need to let go and where I can actually help. My prayer today is simply the Serenity Prayer...God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and (most of all) the wisdom to know the difference.

I think ppl expect way too much from God, when you think about it. Sure God can handle a lot, but notice how the more materialistic ppl get, the more and more stressful and stormy the dramas get. I also wouldn't go so far as to say God is the innocent party in all this. After all, God created everything saintly and evil, including the idea of the 'devil', and this whole twisted game on Earth. That would make God 'the deceiver', which is basically another name for the 'devil'. Because God 'is' actually the 'devil' also. Not something separate. Eg. There is 'no' separate evil God. It's all just a twisted game God plays with itself. That's all it is. You have to wonder why souls even keep reincarnating to Earth over and over, yet alone once, if heaven is really that wonderful😇😜. Come on!😉

I was chocking yesterday home alone and could breath in nor out so I couldn't talk BUT! My mind said Jesus help me and I received a tiny hole of air that came through and I suddenly relaxed and slowly still making an awful gasping noise trying to breath but I believe in my heart he heard me even thought my mind asked for help with our words.
