Denying ourselves taking up the cross and following Lord Jesus Christ resolves any identity crises and makes us sure of our identity as sons of God.
Derek prince said: a church without spot or wrinkle will be received as the bride of Christ. i think he said spots means unconfessed sin and wrinkle means not having peace with elders. I believe if we submit to a headship and confess our sins to it and not deliberately lose peace with the elders, then if the headship is not completely complete perfectly perfect goodness, it will start to crack. But if it is completely complete perfectly perfect goodness then it will give us a similar identity and nature. Just like when no place was found for Satan on heaven or on earth, there is only one place left, i am hazarding a guess that when we get our identities, which are our place in third heaven, we will automatically find our place and settle, as it is God ordained. I believe all we have to find is how are we a good son to father God, and who we are as His sons. I believe that's all that is needed to unleash the holy love in rapture. Greater is our identity in us, than it is in the world. So identity is also knowing and finding our place in truth.

I had this dream this morning that something bad is coming.

I felt this urgency to share. God is saying to repent and forgive. Get Bibles food and water for the left behind. The time is short.
I saw people with the Mark of The Beast. They were totally brain dead. They could not even think for themselves.
I myself am totally excited because soon Jesus is coming to take us out of the wicked world!

No teasing out scriptures or extrapolations needed, it's as plain as the Sun shine. Jesus made it an issue and so I recommend the same. God bless you on your journey!!!
