The title asks if going to the cinema is dirty? Jesus washed his disciples feet to symbolically cleanse them of the daily contamination from dirt of the world. Getting dirty is not the same as choosing to sin.

I do not watch tv but went to watch a movie on Netflix.. thinking I was safe and within the first 10 min there was a homosexual scene.. I turned it off asked for forgiveness but had a dream that included the same scene.. the devil is sneaky.. be sober and vigilant for the enemy seeks ways to devour you!

Adding my vote to please remove the music. It does distract from the pure Word & messsge.
Adding music, what’s the purpose to this trend?? Seems that the purpose of background music is to distract from the foreground words.

I’ve watched so many unclean things even as a Christian only until recently have I gotten rid of such things. I did watch The Bourne Identity today and it uses Jesus name in vain and g-d several times. Lord Jesus please cleanse me.

Last movie I went to I stood up and walked out. Absolutely disgusting, it was meant to be age 12 documentary about a Jewish family. It took an unexpected twist which I could not sit through or even wanted to. Goodness knows why others stayed with their children.
I don't watch TV either cannot stand it or radio, anything worldly is awful violation of the holy spirit.

After a long hard day at work, I just want to come home and pop on a tv show, or some random Youtube entertainment channel. But then we wonder why our prayers remain unanswered when God clearly told us *if we choose* to delight in Him, He will give us the desires of our hearts. It's a choice - its really up to us what we choose.

We go to the places which the world frequent. Where literally nothing is holy, to the place of the underdogs, the rejected, to the places where Jesus hung out too. Yesterday i found myself watching, a popular TV series. It is meant to be normally enjoyed by teens, but it was invoking so many sexual desires and lusts, that I committed to stay away from it. And I was from a fasting, it really did defile me.
