Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a process. Speaking in Tongues is a spiritual Gift from God…. Its God’s will not ours…… He sees the heart once the heart is pure and you accept Jesus Christ with all your heart….. its the best feeling ever…….. Continue to build a good realtionship with God….. pray and read the scripture….,. Pray alone lock your door in your own room…..Invite the Holy Spirit of God…. Because based on my experience i feel the Holy when im alone in my room when his there i cant help my self but to cry out loud with Joy my heart is like full of love and excitement with the God presence….. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ the best feeling ever

The exaltation of a gift so easily misunderstood in the minds of humans is simply sad to see. What good is the gift of tongues without an interpreter??
It’ll just look like confusing babbling and acting out, yet people try to exalt an interpretation of the gift of tongues without actually explaining it.
The gift of tongues is speaking in language “a” and being understood in any and all languages other than language “a”.
So if someone speaks in English(language “a”) to a group of people who only understand German or Laotian the those people who don’t understand English will still absolutely understand what is being said.
The actual gift of tongues, understanding despite literal language barriers!!
In other words, it’s the undoing of the curse of the Tower of Babble event in Genesis.

I see the Seal of God differently by scripture. Revelation 13:16 talks about a mark (seal) on everyone's forehead. But you don't have to accept being a just a man. In contrast, in Revelation 7:3 & 9:4 talks about the Seal (mark) of God upon people (foreheads). This is the Holy Spirit, so we can become a man-spirit and have union with Him.

So unless one speaks in tongues they're not sealed and therefore are not saved? Salvation is through believing and accepting Jesus as our Lord and repentance, isn't it? When you accept Jesus, you receive Holy Spirit who then change you into a new creation through the process sanctification. So none of this is true if a believer hasn't received the gift of tongues? Where in the scriptures does it say that speaking in tongues is a seal? It makes sense that when one has the gift of tongues, it's a confirmation that one has the Holy Spirit in them. But like tongues, so are other gifts... the gift of prophesy, word of wisdom etc... Here the scripture reference from 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 -
"There are [d]diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works [e]all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by [f]the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills."
So why is tongues considered superior and even as stated here as the seal? Holy Spirit is the seal and not the tongues. In fact Paul says the superior gift above all is 'Love' and not tongues.
Please share your opinions.
When there are so many confusions, messages like this will disappoint even the believers and lead to frustration and despair. I'm deeply saddened by this myself. Thanks. I appreciate your comments.

Are we reading a single story in the life of Jesus when we see him speaking in tongues? The life of Jesus is an example, a guide to how high a level we can reach with our God in our earthly life if we are in as close a relationship with him as Jesus was. Healing, teaching, raising the dead, overcoming old, bad character defects, and overcoming fear are all signs of the Holy Spirit in the lives of those whose lives God has found authentic.

In Acts 2:38 Peter never mentioned tongues as a separate gift, only of the gift of the Holy Spirit. The other issue that I have is that some churches have a separate event for baptism in the Hol;y Spirit (where they even try to teach tongues) which contradicts Acts 10:44-46. Wherever there was baptism the incumbents were filled with the Holy Spirit simultaneously when baptised. And what about all the spritual gifts through the Holy Spirit in 1Cor 12:7-13?

What a big lie. Preachers will not define the word and confuse believers. They spoke in the language of the people that came back for Passover from all over the world where God had scattered them. Tongues is a 1866 king James translation today we say language.
Holy Spirit is the truth and leads into the truth. When you speak truth that is the seal.
Baptism is not water it is sprinkling of blood and John said so! Blessed is the poor in spirit these are those that are emptied out of self and will be filled with truth “Spirit”.
