Good point Pastor. Yes, we are to “Grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” Even the first disciples had a lot to learn about Jesus before He ascended into Heaven. He told them that He had so much more to tell them, but that they were not ready to receive it yet.”

Humans grow by eating food. It's almost a given since humans get hungry and they will be forced to eat.
Spiritual lives grow by feeding on the Word, prayer and witnessing. This has to be much more intentional than eating food. Because often we don't get hungry for spiritual food.
