The Great Controversy Chapter 8 Part 3: Luther Before the Diet

????

This week Pastor Ted Wilson continues discussion on chapter eight of The Great Controversy, entitled 'Luther Before the Diet' in which the reformer Martin Luther's safety is put into jeopardy as Emporer Charles V announced his decision to uphold the Roman Catholic Church. In a daring rescue through a friend of the Reformation, Luther escaped to the castle of Wartburg, where some of his most important and lasting work was accomplished. In safety and in silence, Luther continued his work for the Lord, translating the New Testament into German and circulating tracts throughout the region to further God's message. To learn more about Luther's ministry in the face of persecution and how it relates to our present experience, read The Great Controversy by Ellen White at https://greatcontroversyproject.org/.

Why does 7th day Adventist rejected the 3 angels message, partake with the world and refused to repent? Our movement are joining with the papacy and only a remnant will stay faithful. That's Bible and Spirit of Prophecy.

In the Adventist periodical The Signs of the Times from May to November 1883 Ellen G. White had published weekly a series of 19 articles on the life of Martin Luther which I believe are of immense interest to any Christian. Since external links in comments are probably automatically censored in your channel I proposed the solution of postponing, by typing the title of the pdf on your device that I want to indicate here: "The essential Steps of Martin Luther's Life". The series (a 90 pp. compilation) is free to download.

Amazing Grace. No, it’s not a sin to boil water for tea on the Sabbath. God never wants the Sabbath to be less than “a delight” to us. There is no labor in boiling water for tea! Let’s not get pharasaic about the Blessed Sabbath day. Now if you’re boiling water to cook spaghetti, then making spaghetti sauce and adding braised veggies crumbles, etc.- that should all be done ahead of Sabbath. You get the picture? God did not give us a hundred and one plus rules for exact Sabbath keeping. Neither did Jesus. They have given us minds to think carefully about the sacred nature of this beautiful, holy day🤔. The Jews made it a burden; let’s never do the same. I think it’s part of God’s amazing grace that He gave the Sabbath to us as a 🎁!

May we too have the courage of this great man who began the Reformation, to stand up for what the Word of God tells us is Truth. May the Holy Spirit “guide us into all truth.” 🙏🏻
