So true. I seriously backslid in a time of marriage crisis when the shepherds I turned to for help would do nothing to help. One said I can't help you but the truth was he wasn't willing to help. To much bother for him. I even wept bitterly in his office while he sat in the corner silent and impassive. He didn't pray with me or even give advice. Nothing. And so many like him fob you off to counsellors mostly secular and psychologists. False shepherds like these will come under judgement. Naturally my wife and I left these false churches where after years noone would befriend us or even invite us to their home or even coffee at a cafe. False shepherds hirelings and false brethren lukewarm and dead. No agape love. Beware of such people and seek out true believers.

There are some important truths here, but I see a somewhat legalistic approach to Scripture. Personally, I find Derek Prince's dictatorial manner, in this message, wounding. Was this recorded before he repented of heavy shepherding?
