The Future of Adventist Communication: Alyssa Truman Discusses Work and Faith

????

Alyssa Truman joins Pastor Sam Neves to discuss the future of Adventist communication, how the Church works to reach every individual around the world, and how the ultimate goal is for others to know Jesus and accept Him as their personal Savior. The Seventh-day Adventist Church first communicated with the world through print in the 1840s, and they have continued to do so through books and other print media to this day. As times and technologies change, the Adventist Church has sought to use the mediums available to convey the Gospel message. The Church is committed to spreading the message of Jesus' soon return. Whenever a new communication platform is introduced, the Church moves to embrace it. Radio, television, and now, the internet, are some of the channels the church uses to proclaim God's message of freedom, healing, and hope throughout the world. The Seventh-day Adventist Church has been an established denomination since 1863. It is a global Christian family with over 21 million members who hold the Bible as the ultimate authority. We are believers who promise to help people understand the Bible to find freedom, healing, and hope in Jesus. Want to learn more about the Seventh-day Adventist Church? Love that the church is having these conversations, we need to have more of these conversations happening at division, union and conference levels also - especially in promoting the 3 areas of Autonomy, Mastery and Purpose and the roles of Management and Supervision and the encouragement of artists! We may not be utilising and at the top of all digital tools but by a long stretch we are still leading in cutting-edge technology in expanding the gospel. May the Holy Spirit continue to give us more inspiration in innovation and creativity in utilising tools available in creating relationships with each other and most importantly with our Heavenly Father 🙏💖

Pastor Sam you have been an inspiration and a source of knowledge and enlightenment to me, since I discovered you during the Covid-19 lockdown days, when you took us through the 12-week book review in the Sam's Book Club. It has been an ever expanding experience working for the church communications department in my local field. This video has given me more to work on. Thank you Pastor Sam and Allyssa. Remain blessed!
