Adventist Development and Relief Agency Helps Earthquake Victims in Syria and Türkiye
The earthquake in Syria and Türkiye surprised the world. Measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale, it struck southern Turkey and northwestern Syria just before dawn on February 6, 2023. Followed by over 100 aftershocks, this disaster has killed and displaced thousands. According to the World Health Organization, this earthquake is Europe's worst natural disaster in nearly a century. ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency) immediately mobilized, sending personnel, medicine, and aid to the earthquake site. The team also distributed food, water, clothing, and other essential supplies.
