Just like God will never like the sin that we do, we don't ever have to "like" what someone did or said to us, but God is willing to forgive the person who did bad things, so even though we aren't required to ever like what a person did, we can (with God's help) forgive the person themselves though. I think there is a difference between a person's actions, and the person themselves in that regard.
