Adventist Church's New York and Pennsylvania Conference Divided; and other happenings [History]
On November 13, 1878, the New York and Pennsylvania Conference was divided. The New York Conference was one of the five that created the General Conference in 1863, but in 1867 it was renamed the New York and Pennsylvania Conference, combining the two most populous American states into a single Adventist conference.
