Three ancient mummies preserved in the Anima Mundi Ethnological Museum in the Vatican Museums were repatriated to Peru in a ceremony held Monday, October 17, at the Vatican Museums in the presence of the President of the Governorate of Vatican City State, H.E. Cardinal Vergez, and Peruvian Foreign Minister César Rodrigo Landa Arroyo. The ceremony included the signing of the document by the two institutional representatives, making the act official.
