ADRA Helps Over 33 Million People Affected by Monsoon Rains in Pakistan; and other world news
This week on ANN weekly, we highlight several stories from locations around the globe including Pakistan, Brazil, and the United States. First, ADRA has been mobilized to offer relief in Pakistan where heavy seasonal rain has caused severe flooding, killing over 1000 residents and affecting more than 33 million people. Students at the Jacobina Adventist School in Bahia, Brazil participate in the Master Chef: Junior Entrepreneur project, raising over 700 dollars for the 'House for Children's Coexistence Building Tomorrow' initiative. In the United States, Adventist Community Services distribute 15,000 bottles of water for individuals impacted by a severe clean water shortage in Jackson, Mississippi.
