<<@Eddieshred says : "This is total speculation." Just like every other Christian's believe about God .>> <<@Moist._Robot says : “We don’t know, it’s just total speculation” If only Frank answered like that when asked if the bible is true.>> <<@thetroof5525 says : Man's sin wasn't what hell was created for. Hell is Satan's prison. It was made for him prior to man's sin.>> <<@Paulthored says : Many times I'd try to find out the answer... yet I'm pretty sure that the Bible was intended solely for our Benefit in Salvation. Thusly, why one will only find answers to questions that matter to our gaining/keeping Salvation... and not questions which ultimately don't impact our path to Salvation. Why Dinosaurs or other Fossil's? Why one Moon? Why Mosquitoes? Why Satan at all? E=mc²? Etc...>> <<@hansdemos6510 says : As with all the supernatural claims in the Bible and the apocrypha (and anywhere else for that matter): it is all speculation.>> <<@ThunderKat2012 says : Some questions they cause strife & contention…when was hell created? Where is the garden of Eden or the ark of the covenant💁🏽‍♂️ we don’t know & honestly it doesn’t matter at the present moment…we as believers should all be like little children…ignorant of the details but focused on the big picture 🥰>> <<@karlhowe5181 says : Where was God , he's Spirit where do you think. Energy has always existed and is not a physical substance. God is omnipresent. I think it obvious what this implies. Hell to me is a result of sin or is the separation from God it's simply the grave or death . Death is an everlasting punishment, the wages of sin is death. Nowhere in the bible does it say man has an immortal soul. Nowhere. So then without God man inevitably ceases to exist.>> <<@christianolson7141 says : Hell was originally created for the fallen angels, not for humanity. But yes, you will find both there. The difference is, humans can receive redemption through repentance and accepting Christ as their savior. Fallen angels can’t receive redemption because they had full intellect and knowledge of God’s glory when they rebelled, and did it anyway.>> <<@somerandom3247 says : No answer as usual from frank...>> <<@dashriprock5720 says : My thought sheol, death existed from the beginning and man was not created with an immortal body because otherwise why would there be a need for the tree of life>> <<@briarpatchson3039 says : ✝️Matthew 25:41 “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:”>> <<@royaleagle1961 says : Hell was never meant for man but created for Satan and his angels after Judgement, man ended in hell was by their own choice when they rejected God's provided way to be saved and that's through the LORD Jesus Christ.>> <<@maggiegoossens1894 says : I have sort of a unusual interpretation of hell and when it was created. At least I have never read, heard anyone mentioning anything similar about this topid. God is ALL GOOD, All HOLY, ALL PURE, ALL LOVE, ALL JUST, ALL RIGHTEOUS and so on. So ANYTHING that is GOOD is with God. The bible says that God and sin CANNOT be together, sin can not be in His presence. So what is hell actually then? EVERYTHING THAT IS EVIL, WICKED, WRONG, NEGATIVE, PAINFUL, HATEFUL, DIRTY, UNRIGHTEOUS and so on. Which implies that hell by this definition is eternal, as eternal as God is, because all good is eternally with God, so all evil is eternally away from God= hell. Therefore the bible says that Lucifer and his followers were thrown there because that is where EVERYONE goes who is sinful. To me God didn't 'create' hell as most people might see it = God sitting on His throne and then saying 'okay, now I'll make a place for the sinful to go to'. NO, hell was there whenever God was, is and will be because of the intrinsic seperation of good and evil. What do you think? I have never shared this with anyone yet, not even a pastor. I would appreciate some feedback. Thank you.>> <<@paradigmbuster says : Is not hell a place inside the earth like a cavern? So damnation would be an application pertaining to those caverns.>> <<@lane21007 says : Matthew 25:41 41 “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire ***prepared for the devil and his demons.[a]”*** Other translations say, “…prepared for the devil and his angels.” I know scripture teaches that unbelievers will also be in hell. The rest of the passage speaks to that (verses 42-46) But from verse 41 it seems like it was initially prepared for the devil and the demons.>> <<@jamesw4250 says : Same time as heven. Never.>> <<@DM-dk7js says : Better question: WHY?!>> <<@jtalb64 says : Hell is separation from God, so it was "created" when Adam and Eve partook of the fruit and were cast from His presence in the Garden. This earth became a Hell, because we are cut off. We have the Comforter, who accompanies us and reflects the Light of His presence on us. Once Christ returns, this earth will be redeemed and be restored to its paradasaical glory, and hell will be obliterated.>> <<@melleetheka says : What did Augustine say about the Eucharist and the status of Mary since you quote him as an authority on the interpretation of a scripture, Frank??>> <<@markh4926 says : God never promised to give eternal life to unrepentant sinners who he tosses into an eternal fire. "14And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15And if anyone was not found having been written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire." There is discussion on whether people are burned forever or whether that lake of fire is God's word. God's word is a two edged sword dividing... I have no conclusions of the matter but a lot of preacher will cast these people into an eternity of suffering being eternal now but in torment. God seems kind of cruel from this standpoint doesn't He?>> <<@kashirimgolden3549 says : My thoughts on this is that based on what Jesus said, "Depart from me ye cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels". I assume that it was created after the fall of Lucifer and was originally created for the doom and destruction of Satan and not during the creation of man or at the fall of man. It was created when Lucifer fell from heaven. Infact, by the above statement in quote, it was not even created for man. However, man became a candidate of eternal punishment when he chose to reject and rebel against God like the devil.>> <<@gentleall says : God created everything that is good first. When He got to the point of creating choice, and evil choices were made, He then decided to make a place for sin as a tool of warning.>> <<@jeffphelps1355 says : It's like asking when a prison was built instead of asking how to keep out of prison. Not a very logical question>> <<@boardtodeath46 says : Hell is not a physical place. It’s not created like a earth or solar system. Entities that will be in Hell will not have physical bodies. Also no one is in Hell, that action is reserved until after judgment day.>> <<@randytidmore8021 says : Matthew 25:41 hell was created for the devil and his angels.>> <<@chrismokvack says : The question should rather be "when will God create hell?" Native english speakers tend to get this way off because of how the word "hell" is used to translate three completely different concepts in most english translations of the bible. You can realize how utterly wrong these translations are by reading revelation 20.14. Hell was cast into hell?! Or ps 16.10. King David went to hell?! I think we can impliclitly deduce that Sheol/Hades and Tartarus were created in the beginning, probably on day 1 or possibly day 2. Because it said that God was finished and rested from his work on day 7. As for gehenna, in a sense that was probably created in the beginning also. Perhaps it now resides inside the earth, awaiting the day of judgement. But the idea of "you will go to heaven or hell when you die" is nowhere in the bible. Everyone goes to sheol/hades when they die. And if you want to use the word "hell" to transalte that, then everyone goes to hell when they die. As for eternal judgment / eternal life - it doesn't happen until Christ returns.>> <<@MrGuzmanra says : There are a lot of things "we don't know">> <<@maxhagenauer24 says : If hell was created before humans then the fact he created us knowing we would go to hell, which itself violates free will, sounds evil. Why would he create us knowing we would do something to then go spend eternity in a bad place like thar afterwards?>> <<@oscargr_ says : So, to make sure, everything that isn't specifically said in the bible is speculation, right? And everything two Christians can't agree on, is obviously lacking specificity in scripture.>> <<@stevekim3217 says : Well separation from GOD for Eternity is Hell. Weeping and Gnashing of the Teeth for ever is certainly Hell.>> <<@festushaggen2563 says : It would seem to be related to the age of the Earth by its descriptive location. Sheol is spoken of as being down and likened to the lowest parts of the pit. Revelation 9 has creatures being released from a bottomless pit on the earth who then fill the skies.>> <<@davec5090 says : It's in the center of the Earth where Abraham's Bosom is. So, it had to have been created when the Earth was created.>> <<@gi169 says : Thank you CrossExamined 👍👍👍>> <<@mjs22 says : My kida asked me and I had no idea. My son asked me also how could an angel sin? If everything is perfected in heaven once we die, how could an angel turn bad? Also my kids asked how Satan could come to Gods throne room and ask to tempt Job...help! Lol>> <<@larzman651 says : Since it doesn't say , we don't know. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil>> <<@joshuakohlmann9731 says : Hell is the lower mind, plain and simple. It was posited by Buddha as one of the "10 worlds of the mind" about 600 years before Jesus.>> <<@Moist._Robot says : When someone wished more harm on someone else than they could experience in this life.>> <<@EvanWash says : How satan fell is through pride, disobedience, and rebellion. When hell is created, that is definitely the part we dont know>> <<@chloemartel9927 says : Not really on my radar as to when hell was created. The answer to that is not an issue relating to salvation. Amazing how people love to get off into the weeds and waste time wondering about when hell was created.>> <<@EpicVitto says : It's so nice when a religious person can just admit they don't know instead of trying to win the debate on technicalities or cherry picking scripture. It's this "not completely knowing" that requires faith in the first place. Thank you!>>
