And it is the most superior renewed thinking out of other sources I relied on as a young woman. That being said, one thing I caution is taking on wrong blame as a Christian. Sometimes 'laws' are put forth about how things work, that don't always work that way. Such as about not being blessed for this or that, in some sermons, or taking personal responsibility for how everything goes. I've always been a hard worker, & I have not gotten the results of it, because of a harmful bully persecuting life attack, that is not just something separate from me, but invasive, directly interfering with my life, causing direct life setbacks & interference. As one example, the bullying mental health effort managed to somehow get my art college to join the assault. I spent all my time, writing legal cases, to fight lies & mistreatment, than doing my art. And it was in no way deserved. It was based on lies, of people who put faith in the mental health system that God confirmed failed me, while they have no respect for the true healing I found in my walk with God. Now, I'm in an escalating threatening life position, where people can cause more harm to me, because my art was set back years in art college, by a life invading, wrongful, mental health source that bullies, abuses, etc. Yet, if you listen to the words of this sermon, it's something the bullies of my life would love- blame yourself. You get the results you are getting because you are not taking care of everything. Again, I am a hard worker, & I always have been & the results I've gotten do not reflect my effort; they reflect abuse & persecution & being abused as a child that led me into the grip of these life destroying bullies, etc. And the Bible speaks many times about unfair things happening. So the idea of taking on Christian blame is not all accurate, when you are being severely assaulted; your life massively, directly interfered with, people around you creating defeating circumstances, etc. Still, I see God with me, promising strength & victory. But I will not join the harm bullies have caused, by taking the blame on myself for outcomes under such circumstances, as I hear in a lot of these messages. Things can be done to us that limit our freedom, our effort, our effectiveness. I do not believe in the cause/ effect with personal blame, when the true picture involves a lot more factors of evil assault. Blessings everyone. Peace.
