Anyway, Joyce, I get frustrated with you when I'm bringing my groceries out to my car and it's raining, and now I have to take my cart to the cart corral in the rain! lol You know, Joyce, I don't need or want to to something big for God. I'm okay with doing small things. God gave me a sense of humor and I love making people laugh. I can pick someone who looks like they're having a bad day and I feel blessed when I can be a blessing to them by making them laugh. The way it changes their entire countenance, and they treat the next person in line with kindness. It's small. Should I dream bigger? I want to write a book about my family. My family is extremely broken. I'd like it to have a happy ending. I've been waiting for years and years for the happy ending. Not sure there's going to be one. I want people to learn something about God from my book, but I don't know what it will be. I need His help. I've been waiting a very long time. Maybe He doesn't want me to write the book. I'm so lost. My Mom died a few months ago. She was a somewhat cold mother, but I still loved her unconditionally. I'm very sad. It's a long story, but the timing of her death seems so unfair. I don't understand why God took her when He did. I feel God is punishing me sometimes.>> <<@americanmaidband says : I don't understand. . There were PLENTY of times in scripture when God overrode someone's will BECAUSE HE GAVE THEM A PERSONAL PROMISE, vastly different than His general promises. She implies that God is NOT sovereign and He ISN'T in control. You can't show me one place in the Bible where He said He would never violate someone's will! On the contrary, I found scriptures that says He does and He will, just to make his will happen. If that were true, NO ONE WOULD EVER GET SAVED! Saul would still be Saul and not Paul! Jonah wouldn't have been fish food! C'mon, Joyce, get with it.
