But if you do not forgive, neither will God forgive you of your sins". That's what faith in Jesus means. For the above mentioned is the path to salvation cos without forgiveness you cannot enter into heaven cos then you will still be a sinner and thats why Paul even states so in the book of Corinthians that the sinful will not attain salvation. But by following Jesus' teachings of forgiveness and repentance we in our hearts accept him to be the Messiah. Whereas before Jesus, forgiveness of sins was attained by ritual sacrifices taught by Mosaic law. But by not doing that and rather loving and forgiving others, it shows that we wholeheartedly accept Jesus as the Messiah and thats what is called "saved by faith and not by works". And that's why in the book of Romans Paul states that even non Christians can attain salvation cos following the laws of Jesus is a universal possibility cos we all have a conscience to repent for sins and wrongdoings and a heart to love and forgive.>> <<@germanwulf40 says : Belief That = knowing in your heart that Jesus rose from the dead and confessing such verbally.
