If those secondary issues are secondary, we should gather together and pray away those secondary issues and meet together as one in the common faith. We see no support in the NT for multiple churches in one city, contrary to that you could say there was one church, one city, and sometimes the church in a city was called the name of that city. Jerusalem had thousands of believers but was one church. Even thou we are imperfect, it does not follow that we have free passes to separate on the basis of secondary issues. We can not lower God's standard to meet our situation. Onesness as They are One. Almost always, I see some people going to the church of his preference... the church that fits their taste of music, where people they like attend. Where they have the kind of chorus I like... some for the teachings (on secondary issues). The cowboy church , even... The situation is complex... but we should not say God cannot do it...
